Yes it will.work. that is the great thing about the M18 line. It just won't last as long as a 9 or 12 ampere hour battery
A long time. Theres no way to say specifically because it all depends on your particular use of the tool.
The high output XC 8.0 AH battery would indeed suffice in getting the job done. You could also go with the 12.0 AH battery, but keep in mind that will add some extra weight. 8.0 weighs about 2.25 lbs and the 12.0 weighs about 3.35lbs
No. This is only the battery. If you need a charger the Milwaukee M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion HIGH OUTPUT Starter Kit with One 3.0Ah Battery and Charger Model # 48-59-1835 would be a good choice.
The battery will keep the fan from touching whatever surface you set it on as long as it's flat it's pretty stable
Don't know why you think they are garbage...I have had nothing but great service from my Milwaukee tools and their battery packs...once the fuel system came out...I have never looked back...great tools and great batteries ...Peace
Well, Milwaukee service tech told me that it is advertised to drive 300 screws. I talked to him after a full charge cp3 was down to 1 LED light after making a 24 inch cut in 1/8 inch sheet metal with a Mikwaukee grinder. But that's a lot of torque and high speed, esp for 24 inches. But I can attest to the 300 screw driving. It lasts a long time. A blower? Well, only trying it will give you a precise answer. Home Depot will accept the return before 180 days, if it doesn't hold up. Please rate it, if it does hold up with the blower.
As long as the contacts are the same and mate together (battery / tool) it should be fine. Check the manual to be sure
