The Milwaukee M18 FUEL 18ga Brad Nailer delivers peak productivity at the jobsite, providing users with unmatched nailing performance without the hassle of a compressor and hose. Leveraging a nitrogen air spring mechanism, the finish nailer enables users to consistently sink nails to the proper depth in hard and soft woods while leaving clean nail holes matching the head of the nail. The combination of Milwaukee's POWERSTATE Brushless Motor and REDLINK PLUS Intelligence delivers users with unmatched fire rate with zero ramp-up time keeping them efficient throughout their day. Additionally, the cordless brad nailer operates using Milwaukee's REDLITHIUM Batteries (not included) and sealed compressed nitrogen to drive each nail, completely eliminating the cost of gas cartridges and maintenance associated with competitors' nailers. The 18 gauge nailer is compact in size, and very lightweight, providing users with unmatched access into tight spaces and limiting their fatigue throughout their day. The M18 FUEL 18ga Brad nailer delivers the pneumatic performance that professional carpenters and remodelers expect with the freedom and convenience of cordless.

Q:How do I know if I have A M18 Gen. One or Gen. 2 nail gun
by|Dec 1, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question

A:  Good question, Milwaukee Tool recently started advertising the new tools as Gen II. I have not observed any markings on the tools to tell the difference. Be careful of tools with lower prices or part of a tool bundle, they are usually Gen I tools.

Q:What a different between brad nailer and framing nailer?? Which one is stronger???

    Answer This Question

A:  Depending on the application you are performing, you will need a different size nail. A brad nailer, for example, shoots nails that are 3/8 inch to 1 1/4 inches in length, while a larger framing nailer typically shoots nails from 2 to 3 1/2 inches in length. - Milwaukee Tool, Socail Team

A:  15 gauge is larger than 16 gauge which is larger than 18 gauge. I've noticed the sizes work like wiring. The smaller the number of the gauge the thicker/bigger the nail/wire. I can't answer the rest of your questions.

Comfortable but unlike the marketing name the lenses do scratch.
I only had these for a month before I started having trouble seeing out the right eye. Thought they were dirty so I gave them a gentle washing in sink with Dawn dish soap and then noticed the scratches. I take good care of my tools and especially my eyewear so puzzled how these got destroyed so quickly. I give three stars because they are comfortable and they are not expensive but Milwaukee shouldn’t name these “anti-scratch”. I will buy replacement lense.

                Efficient tool, cheap tip
Tool works well in both modes and adjusting the depth is quick and easy but destroyed the ripper tip before finishing the first box of brads. Now have to be extra careful not to damage trim while installing.

                  Free from hoses.
Milwakee has always provided me with quality tools and this t nailer is no exception. Features include 2 setting fon single or auto fire. Nice , when you can just hold the trigger down and rapid fire . Being battery operated eliminates that air hose and I'm sure I'll get over not having it in my way,not to mention hearing the compressor running.

                  Jams every other time
Just recently purchased the nailer. I am using 1-3/4 nails. It does nothing but jam every time, lock out and cause nothing but issues on the job. Will be returning.

                    Nails jam always
The first time I used it was ok phenomenal, not even 1 month later the nails jam every single time, I’m using the 18 gauge nails obviously and still, this is the worst gun, don’t take me wrong Milwaukee it’s a good brand, but, with this one they didn’t do it right, I used dewy guns and never had a problem, also poor quality in the loader spring

Amazing Clarity, Comfort, & Fit. Actually- can wear these all day. Distortion free. Hands down- these are The Best safety glasses I’ve worn. Mainly because the comfortable lightweight just right fit makes wearing them easy. Especially liked them minimizing blowing dust from getting into eyes. Milwaukee anti scratch safety glass line has many options, including magnification! Will be ordering tinted and gray models. Glasses performed excellent for several weeks of DIY use; protecting eyes from metal cutting, blade sharpening, automotive battery replacement and lawn mower tune-up- blade blown debris, and from compressed air. Glasses performed perfectly at preventing debris from getting in eyes. They even seem to reduce 'dry scratchy eyes' when worn on windy days. Glasses are comfortable enough to wear all day. Between the light stay in place nose pads to the slightly curved & stay in place arms, these glasses are easy to wear. Highly satisfied and recommend the clear Anti-Scratch Safety Glasses.
