About This Product

The Milwaukee M18 FUEL 18ga Brad Nailer delivers peak productivity at the jobsite, providing users with unmatched nailing performance without the hassle of a compressor and hose. Leveraging a nitrogen air spring mechanism, the finish nailer enables users to consistently sink nails to the proper depth in hard and soft woods while leaving clean nail holes matching the head of the nail. The combination of Milwaukee's POWERSTATE Brushless Motor and REDLINK PLUS Intelligence delivers users with unmatched fire rate with zero ramp-up time keeping them efficient throughout their day. Additionally, the cordless brad nailer operates using Milwaukee's REDLITHIUM Batteries (not included) and sealed compressed nitrogen to drive each nail, completely eliminating the cost of gas cartridges and maintenance associated with competitors nailers. The 18-Gauge nailer is compact in size, and very lightweight, providing users with unmatched access into tight spaces and limiting their fatigue throughout their day. The M18 FUEL 18ga Brad nailer delivers the pneumatic performance that professional carpenters and remodelers expect with the freedom and convenience of cordless.

Q:Why is Home Depot manipulating customer reviews on this milwaukee product? I personally entered a 3 star review and after it was approved by HD and posted, it had been changed to a 5 star review. Someone care to explain?

Q:How do I know if I have A M18 Gen. One or Gen. 2 nail gun

      Answer This Question

A:  Good question, Milwaukee Tool recently started advertising the new tools as Gen II. I have not observed any markings on the tools to tell the difference. Be careful of tools with lower prices or part of a tool bundle, they are usually Gen I tools.

          used brad nailer
This isnt a tool review. It is venting frustration with Home Depot I picked up this milwaukee brad nailer from the HD near 35 and woodward. It had clearly been used. Scuff marks and paint spray all over it. I have to waste more of my time going back to swap it out.

            Jams constantly
I've cleaned it countless times and it still jams every third nail. Complete waste of money.

              Good little cordless nailer
Ive been running this gun pretty hard for almost a year now. As a trim carpenter this makes smaller jobs or installing shoe on punch out really handy. I love how it doesnt have the wind up like other cordless nailers have. On bump fire it will keep up just fine. The only issues I have with it is sometimes it has a hard time fully setting nails. The bulkiness of the gun makes firing into corners a little difficult, and the tips wear out pretty fast. But for me thats worth it for the convenience

                Efficient tool, cheap tip
Tool works well in both modes and adjusting the depth is quick and easy but destroyed the ripper tip before finishing the first box of brads. Now have to be extra careful not to damage trim while installing.

                  Jams every other time
Just recently purchased the nailer. I am using 1-3/4 nails. It does nothing but jam every time, lock out and cause nothing but issues on the job. Will be returning.

                    Nails jam always
The first time I used it was ok phenomenal, not even 1 month later the nails jam every single time, I’m using the 18 gauge nails obviously and still, this is the worst gun, don’t take me wrong Milwaukee it’s a good brand, but, with this one they didn’t do it right, I used dewy guns and never had a problem, also poor quality in the loader spring
