Love the saw, everything up until - of all things - the dust collection bag fails. Seriously? Who builds anything with a zipper that doesn't self-heal? YKK has been making them for decades, and maybe it would have cost a dollar more to buy a zipper that actually works. Sorry to rant, but I am a homeowner who bought the tool more as a novelty rather than than to overuse it. And having to replace the whole collector assembly for the sake of a crappy zipper just adds insult.

Best miter saw I’ve ever owned. Ditched the cord and went with this. Been wanting to ditch my old saw for a while. I’ve only used it for small projects so far. I was really impressed with the blade it came with.

This saw is a cut above the rest. I love the brake on the blade and the light shows exactly where the cut is. Great purchase.

Good so far but needs a slide lock latch, minor injury to my thumb when I lifted it off the stand and slide lock screw wasn't enough to hold, safety issue

Out of service for the second time. Do not buy this. It’s a lemon but Milwaukee is not interested in replacing it.

great little light saw. much easier to drag around than a 12". made a zero gap insert for it so I am sure it will be even better than the sloppy plastic one it comes with.

This miter saw is a must have cordless tool for carpenters and remodelers. I also own the 7" and 12" miter saws from Milwaukee and this 10" has been my go to saw on the job. With an 8.0 High Out battery you can make up to 400 cuts per charge. This saw has a 2x12 horizontal capacity and a 5 3/4" vertical capacity when the material you are cutting is up against the fence. The saw can be easily adjusted for miter cuts as well as bevel cuts. The saw is very well designed and focused on safety to prevent accidents. The saw slides which allows for you to get that 2x12 cut. The saw has an electric brake and an on board key storage for easy blade changes. You can also connect a dust bag which is included or a vacuum to keep your work area cleaner. The saw weighs 45 lbs and has plenty of well placed handles for easy carrying. The saw has a light switch which casts a shadow line for you to accurately line up your cuts. It's super important to check the saw for accuracy and that it is lined up accurately. I use a 4 1/2" trim square to gauge that is calibrated properly. if your saw is not accurate, there are lots of videos online that show how you can make adjustments. My saw came accurate out of the box which was awesome. I use to have a corded miter saw which I retired a few years ago and have never looked back. Milwaukee makes great miter saws, although they need to make a good miter saw stand. Baseboards, framing, shelving, this is properly my most used tool for carpentry work. I can't remember many times where the 8,0 battery did not last the whole day. The shadow line makes cutting accurately super easy. Only downside of the shadow line is if you are working directly in the sunlight, you have to use your body to block the sunlight in order for the shadow to be cast. I have used saws with laser guides, but they are unreliable. I connect a vacuum to the saw to limit the amount of dust and debris this saw spits out. Also I make sure to use my air compressor after every use to keep it clean. Overall performs better than any other miter saw, corded or cordless, that I have used.
