M18 FUEL QUIK-LOK 10 in. Pole Saw Attachment (Tool-Only)

Love it . great add on to already amazing tool works better than gas and light weight .

The M18 pole saw does it's job for my needs, however, it does leak when hanging it back up in ANY orientation. I'm very disappointed since the tool costs so much money, I wasn't expecting it to leak after it's first use. I do recommend it but only if you don't mind cleaning up the oil off your floor, workbench or packout system.

Out performed my expectations by a long shot I would recommend this to anyone

Make sure hoses are connected under the tank If it leaks bar oil on fill-up. Great tool, easy to use.

I recently purchased the weed whacker, leaf blower, hedge trimmer, 2 chainsaws, polesaw kit with (2) 12.0 & (2) 8.0 batteries and chargers. The weed whacker and leaf blowers draw so much power from the batteries, they are melting the contacts on the batteries. The amp draw on the weed whacker also over heats and shuts it down. Great for small jobs, but for the amount I paid, I want to be able to do more than just trim the edges of the driveway. Will be going back to gas.

All of the products functioned correctly however the blower makes an ungodly high-pitched whining noise at about 25 or 30% throttle. This low power range is ideal for quickly cleaning up the garage floor but the noise is nearly intolerable, like fingernails being scrapped across a chalkboard.It would be nice to have an LED battery indicator on the handles of the products to continually monitor battery life without having to stop and manually press a button on a battery. There is a learning curve with both of these products and the path to optimizing battery performance is impeded by the current layout. Weight and balance is great on both products.The string trimmer comes pre-loaded with Milwaukee line. It has performed exceptionally. I've gone through 5 full batteries and I'm still using the same string.I was apprehensive about this purchase as I don't own a large amount of Milwaukee products but overall after continued usage I feel like I've made a good investment that will continue to produce good returns for years to come.

I used it for about 15 minutes and a branch about 1.5" in diameter which is quite small pinched the bar and bent it badly out of shape to the point that the chain was bound. I am extremely disappointed. I have cut many many trees and have several chainsaws and pole saws and have yet to damage a bar after getting it pinched. For the bar to be damaged so quickly and on such a small branch is unacceptable. I have a lot of milwaukee tools and equipment that I enjoy and rely on and they do well but this has greatly disappointed me due to low quality. Adding insult to injury, the cheaply made bar (48-09-5001) that I need to replace can't be found for purchase anywhere.

Hands down a must have combo kit if you are in the Milwaukee battery platform for your power tools and looking to expand into lawn care products. The kit comes with the Quik-lok power head, the string timer attachment for the Quik-lok power head, blower, high output xc 8.0 battery, and a rapid charger. The quik-lok power head allows you to use other attachments with it other than the string trimmer. Right now Milwaukee has the string trimmer attachment which is included in this kit, a header trimmer, a pole saw, and a edger attachment. The trimmer is very powerful and you get a good run time with the 8.0 battery. With the battery the total weight is about 12 lbs but the string trimmer is well balanced so it isn’t too bad if you need to trim a lot within the yard. The string trimmer has a cutting swath of 14” to 16” and has a two speed mode. The lower speed has rpm up to 4,900 and the fast mode is up to 6,200 rpms. The string trim utilizes bump feed to send out more line. The bump feed is good and I haven’t had any issues with it. Overall a great trimmer The blower produces 450 cfm with an air speed of 120mph. This unit also has 2 speeds and has a nice lock trigger so you don’t have to hold the trigger for extended use. Very good weight for the unit and great balance. Run time is decent with the 8.0 but would suggest you have 2 8.0s if you are planning to trim and blow on the same day. Battery is great and gives decent runtime for both tools. The charger is not the super charger but the rapid charger is pretty good recharge time. Overall I would definitely recommend this combo pack.

This combo String Trimmer and Blower are excellent tools and combine two of the most used outdoor power tools in one easy to use package. Plus you get an 8 Amp extended-capacity battery and a rapid charger. There's nothing that you have to buy. Just charge and go! The string trimmer features Milwaukee's Quik-Lok attachment system that gives you the option of using several other optional implements such as an edger, pruning saw or even an extension attachment. The system is very easy to use. Just slip the attachment into the shaft's joint until it clicks and tighten the knob. Takes about 30 seconds. A small amount of assembly is required but is easy. The handle and the trimmer's head guard have to be attached with the supplied socket head bolts. This is a well built tool with a sturdy feel and the trimmer head itself uses two lines to cut as opposed to many other electric-battery powered trimmers. The throttle has two speed ranges (high/low) and is also variable speed in either. Power is excellent and this trimmer cuts very well. I was very impressed by the performance and ease of operation. This model is the FUEL model that features the latest brushless motors and electronic circuitry that boosts power and allows longer battery life per charge. A bracket to allow use with a shoulder strap isn't included but can be purchased separately. I felt that this something that should been included with this tool. The trimmer is moderately heavy and I got slightly tired using it. Still it was lighter than my gas-powered trimmer. The M18 FUEL blower is a "rockstar" it is super easy to use, features a large air outlet, two speed ranges w/variable speed in both. Power is very good and compares well with my gas blower. All you have to do is put a charged M18 battery on the blower and pull the trigger. As with all M18 System tools you can use any M18 battery. I like to use a lighter battery when I use the blower. It's just more compact and easier. This combo includes one battery which means you'll have to change the 8 AH battery over from one tool to the other but I have several M18 batteries so it's no problem. The rapid charger works real well and will charge M18 and M12 batteries at the same time. Charge time depends upon the batteries rated capacity as well as state of charge. I am really impressed with this combo. Easy to use, no gas to fool with and these two Milwaukee Fuel tools deliver very good performance. I recommend them!
