Good design and features!!
Milwaukee’s M18 job site radio/charger is a beefy radio that has many different features that make it very convenient to have on the job. The radio is compatible with all M18 batteries and can be used as a radio or with the Bluetooth receiver you can stream music directly from any electronic that has Bluetooth capabilities. You can also play from your electronic device using the included 16” auxiliary input cord. The radio also serves as a charger for your electronics with the 2.1 amp USB port. Included also is power cord so you can plug in directly into an outlet and this will also charge the M18 battery that you have docked on the radio. The auxiliary and USB port are located within a weather sealed compartment which offers protection for your small belonging and smart phone. Also on the side of the radio is a bottle opener. This radio is definitely a solid radio to have on the job site. Your smart phone can stay connected up to 100’ away from the radio which allows you to be constantly on the move on the job site while still being able to jam out to your favorite tunes. The sound quality is excellent with the premium speakers and 40 watt amplifier really helps the sound to carry. I bought this for a demo job that I have been working on and it’s been a great source of energy for my crew during the grind of physical labor. I am finding that the phone charging ability is a winner for my crew as someone is always charging their phone on this radio. The radio is definitely designed to endure the tough conditions of the job site and also being transported here and there. Also great to take with you on trips or camping. Really good design and quality!!

    I wouldn't buy it a again.
It has good sound. Bluetooth connect but I can only be about 15 ft from it and it disconnects. It's also supposed to be weather proof and the entire screen is full of water after a rainstorm on a job site. It's like the radio funneled the water straight to the screen . I tipped it upside down to see if would drain and it won't. Weird it can get in but not out.oh and it's only a couple of months old.

      Great radio when it works.
I'm making the transition to the M18 Fuel platform and decided to get this radio. Set it up and it worked great. For 5 days. First thing I noticed is the power button sticks out on front and it's easy to hit or get banged into when transporting. Sure enough, now the radio won't fully power up and the buttons are intermittent. I hope Homedepot will replace it. Milwaukee needs to look at recessing the power button or making it shorter.

Hit a set of railroad tracks doing 40mph. Radio jumped out of the back of my truck and landed on asphalt. Minor damage to the storage compartment. Radio still works and sounds great

My 3 year old managed to break a “job site radio”?
I actually love this thing. Sounds great and does everything I need it to do except it won’t turn on anymore. Volume knob is loose and won’t turn the radio on. Basically all I have now is a large 18v charger with a clock. Any advice on how to fix would be appreciated

            Screen Malfunction
I just purchased this radio and right out of the box the top half of the screen does not work. I have tried turning on and off as well as adjusting the modes but the top half does not work on any mode.

$200 paper weight from the store
I bought this radio and inserted the back up batteries. Plugged it in. Nothing but a Low battery sign and a flashing clock. Wony turn on. Cant adjust the clock. Put on a M18 battery. Says battery is charged. But still wont turn on. Should have listened to the rest of the negative reviews and bought a competitord product

Good radio but some design issues and poor FM
I've had this radio for about a year. Its a decent speaker, plenty loud. I mostly use it with Bluetooth and never had a problem (Google Nexus 6p...which is 3+ years old). I also keep an old iPod in the top bay. I like the USB + AUX input in the compartment; it keeps the iPod charged and good quality audio. See picture. By-the-way: USB is just there for power; you must use the 1/8" jack for the audio portion. Cons: the handle is too close to the body of the speaker. Hard to get your hand around it and I don't have big meat-hooks for hands. This is especially the case for the top handle when the battery is installed. The other problem is the compartment on top: great idea but horribly small! Why not make it big enough to fit a typical smartphone? Lastly: the FM reception is atrocious. :( PS: Regarding Bluetooth: there are some advanced capabilities on smartphones for BT audio on your phone that might be causing issues. I've had issues with other BT speakers/headphones. For android: go to Settings -> System -> Developer Options. There is a section called Networking which has a bunch of BT options. I have disabled the "absolute volume" setting. Try this, it may help. Other settings allow you to force the bitrate (quality), version used, etc... Just write down what your current settings are and then play around with options.

Awesome radio no issues like other's mentioned
I've had this radio for about a year ... Its loud ... it has good clean sound... I bluetooth music and podcasts daily it sounds great it bounces around my trailer and is very durable ... It's a Milwaukee... it lives up to its name and what you would expect from Milwaukee:) It runs off wall power and it runs or charges m18 batteries seamlessly If I had to make a complaint it would be the battery is close to the top handle making it a little tight to get a full grip on the top handle .... however I always use the big 9 amp batteries and a smaller battery wouldn't be so tight..... but that's not a deal breaker to me Also a 12 volt battery charger would be super nice All my other 18volt chargers are dual voltage why not this radio ?? Overall I'd highly recommend this radio to anyone who runs Milwaukee m18 tools or anyone wanting a good loud portable sterio I love mine
