Hey Victor! The chest size is 38"-40" and the waist size is 32-1/2" - 34-1/2", the length should be similar between the M and L that you already have. Hope this helped!

            can i weld in these?
            ByFeb 20, 2025
            1 Answer |
            Answer This Question

Hey Elijah! Yes, you can weld while wearing an M12 heated jacket. Milwaukee's M12 heated jackets, such as the M12™ Heated TOUGHSHELL™ Jacket, are designed to be durable and provide protection from the elements, making them suitable for various jobsite conditions, including welding. However, it is important to ensure that the jacket does not come into direct contact with sparks or flames, as this could damage the jacket or pose a safety risk.

                    Garbage
My boss bought this for me last November 2024. I used until February and not everyday. After Feb it went in my closet until last week. Battery was dead so I charged to full charge, plugged in and the jacket is dead, won't turn on. My boss spent a lot of money for 3 months use. What a piece of crap.

                      Excellent material quality
I bought this M100 gray jacket on the 02/27/2025. I was hoping for the best performance regarding the new honeycon heating technology. However, I'm flabbergasted with the poor performance. The battery doesn't even last more than an hour after iys fully charged and the jacket on medium mode. The pocket heating element should have been generating more heat and the back area as well. I'm not sure as to why the battery I got discharges so fast and if the jacket as a fault regarding the heating element. But I hope the respective personnel is looking into my review and could have this issue rectified as soon as possible. But the jacket material is perfect, great quality regarding the material, but poor performance. So I would like to believe something is to totally wrong with the battery that I've received. It can't be getting depleted so fast. Hope to hear from a representative from milwaukeetool soon. Thanks

                        It’s Hot
Picked up this heated jacket for a job requiring me to work on a roof during the arctic wind. I must say, I was never cold. Definitely glad I used their sizing chart. Fits perfectly. Just a work shirt and the jacket. I did find my self needing to turn off the jacket at certain points of the day. I definitely recommend the power heated source with the toughshell.

                          Heavy Duty, Warm, Stylish
First, I keep getting compliments everywhere I go with this jacket. It is extremely heavy duty and very warm even without the heater on. I live in Wyoming and the cold plus the wind can be extreme. When the heater is on, shoveling snow and going outside is no problem. Having a battery in your side can sometimes be bothersome. The jacket is heavy, but I expected nothing less due to what it is supposed to do. I wish it came with the smaller / slim battery pack that they sell as an accessory. Besides that, this thing is amazing!

Milwaukee Red Heated Jacket Kit with Battery
The Milwaukee Red M12 Toughshell Heated Jacket Kit is a solid piece of gear for anyone needing dependable warmth and toughness in cold weather—whether you’re working on a site or spending time outdoors. I’ve put this jacket through its paces, and here’s what makes it a winner: Why It Works: Gets Warm Fast: The carbon fiber heating elements heat up quick and keep you warm where it counts—on your chest, back, and shoulders. That quick-heat button’s a lifesaver on those freezing mornings when you need to warm up fast. Tough But Moves With You: The jacket’s made from Toughshell Stretch Polyester, so it’s tough enough for rough jobs but still lets you move around comfortably. Perfect for active work, and it won’t rip easily. Smart Features: The battery pocket’s pass-thru setup is a nice touch—you can put the battery pack in the front or back, depending on what feels better. It’s especially helpful if you’re wearing a tool belt or a backpack. Battery Life That Lasts: The M12 battery gives you hours of heat, depending on what setting you use. It’s good for most jobs, but if you’re out all day, grabbing an extra battery might be a good idea. Good For More Than Work: This jacket isn’t just for the jobsite. It’s awesome for hunting, hiking, or even hanging out at outdoor events. Keeps you warm and handles the elements like a champ. A Couple Things to Know: Sizing: It runs a bit tight, especially if you’re layering up. If you’re between sizes or plan on thicker clothes underneath, go a size up. Battery Feel: Even with the pass-thru design, the battery can feel a little bulky sometimes, especially if you’re wearing it for hours. Bottom Line: The Milwaukee 204R-21M M12 Toughshell Heated Jacket Kit is built tough and does the job when you need warmth and durability. With its solid heating tech, strong fabric, and practical features, it’s worth the money. Whether you’re working in the cold or enjoying the outdoors, this jacket’s got your back.

                          Heated Gear
I've been looking at the Milwaukee heated gear for about 3 years and finally got the chance to get one. This jacket was packaged very well, and an M12 3 ah battery and top-up charger was included. The jacket is well made and water resistant, and with heat in the pockets and chest, back it gets plenty warm. With the included battery, you can get about 12 hours on a low setting. I prefer it on medium and it lasts about 5.5 Hrs. This jacket is great. I didn't think I'd ever say I can't wait til it gets cold. I'm retired now. I wish these were around 10 yrs ago.

                          This jacket is a beast!
With the weather getting colder in the northeast, I decided it was time to pick up a new winter jacket before the snow began to fall. I had been researching heated jackets for a while and ultimately decided to go with the Milwaukee Toughshell, and that was a great decision. Right out of the box, this is a very warm jacket - without turning on the heat. It fits great, and allows plenty of room to layer up. But you probably will not need to layer up, that's how great this jacket is. It features 4 zipper pockets (2 waist, 1 chest, and 1 on the back for the battery pack), all with easy to operate, high-quality zippers. The wrist cuffs have velcro to allow you to cinch the wrists tight to prevent heat loss. And then there is the heating aspect of this jacket. That's where this jacket really thrives in the frigid winter months! There are 2 zones for the heating elements - upper and lower. The upper zone heats your chest and upper back, while the lower zone heats the pockets. Each zone can be independently controlled to 4 temps - off, low, medium, and high. On the highest setting, you warm up very quickly, but it does not get so hot that it is uncomfortable. I found that my ideal settings so far have been low in the upper zone and high in the pockets. The only reason I am knocking off 1 star is the battery pocket. Using the same battery as all of my other Milwaukee products is convenient, but the location is not very convenient. The battery pocket in located on the back kidney area. Unless you are very flexible and good with your (cold) hands, it would be difficult to access the battery pack to swap it out for a new one without taking the jacket off. Assuming you will only need the 1 battery, and you loaded the battery pack before putting the jacket on, you would be fine...unless you were going to be getting in a car. The thick, round, battery pack sitting between your kidney and the car seat is pretty uncomfortable. If this jacket came with a slimmer battery pack, or had a different placement for the battery pack, it would easily get 5 stars!

                          Winter Coat Required Wardrobe Addition
My wife has been eyeing this coat for years! As someone who recently moved to the city, staying warm during evening walks or bike rides to dinner became a must, especially with the cold Indiana weather. The Milwaukee heated coat has been a game changer for me. What she loves most is how it keeps her core warm without making her feel overheated. The coat is a little heavy, mainly due to the battery pack, but it’s not uncomfortable, after a while she doesn't even notice it. The added weight is a small price to pay for the comfort and warmth it provides. The jacket is also well-designed, offering good mobility for all her activities, and the warmth is consistently distributed where she needs it most—her chest and back. She likes that she can easily charge the battery with her USB-C phone charger, which is super convenient. It takes just a few hours to recharge, and she doesn't have to worry about carrying around extra chargers for her coat. Another great perk is the ability to use the coat's battery to charge her phone if ever running low on power while she is out and about. It’s a lifesaver on those long days when you need a little extra juice for your phone. Another great feature of this jacket is the number of pockets. It has an interior pocket, which is great for storing your phone or wallet, and four exterior pockets for easy access to keys, gloves, or other essentials. The extra storage space is super convenient, especially for someone who's always on the go. That being said, the battery life is decent, but when the coat is on full heat mode, she does notice it draining faster. If you plan on being outside for an extended time in cold weather, it’s worth considering getting a backup battery. That way, you can stay warm without worrying about running out of charge. Since she started wearing it, she had several people stop to ask about the jacket, and many are curious if it’s worth the investment. Her answer is always an absolute yes! She even let a few people try it on, and they were immediately impressed by how comfortable and warm it is without being too bulky. For reference, she is 5'8", 220 lbs, and she comfortably wears an XL. If you're someone who enjoys being active outside in the winter months or works out in the elements, she highly recommends the Milwaukee heated coat.

Milwaukee M12 12-Volt Lithium-Ion Tough Shell Heated Well Made Jacket
Milwaukee to not cut corners when making this heated jacket. The material used to make it feels and looks like it's built to last many years. I've been eyeballing the Milwaukee heated jackets for the last 14 years and now I finally have one. After using it with and without heat I think back on all the years I performed all types of construction work in 20-degree weather with layers of clothing. All this extra clothing could have been avoided if I had this jacket and would have allowed me to move more freely while doing my work. Now that I'm retired, I'll be wearing it while camping, going on walks, vacations in the snow, and working odd jobs. I weigh 240 lbs. and am 6' 3" tall so I got the 2XX Jacket, I probably could have gotten by with XLG so the jacket would be closer to my body to feel more of the direct heat, but it still works for me and keeps me warm and closing up the lower draw ties is a plus. I weighed the jacket with and without the battery: the weight I got without the battery was 3.9 lbs. and with the battery 4.4 lbs. I did some temperature checks with an infrared temp gun on the jacket with the jacket temp on the highest setting. With the room temperature at 65 degrees and the jacket closed up and not wearing it the temperature where the heat sources are inside the jacket the front and back ranged from 94 - 89 degrees and the pockets 78 - 83 degrees. While the pockets weren't as warm as the interior of the jacket you could still feel the heat. The exterior material of the jacket is very durable and with this and being new it was a little stiff, so I removed the battery and put it in the dryer with 5 wool drier balls using the airdry only setting for 1 hour and that did the trick to help break the material in.
