A: Hi Jeanie, we are sorry to hear about your tools! Using the ONE-KEY™ network, the TICK™ will provide location updates when it comes within a 100ft range of any phone with the ONE-KEY™ App, providing the last seen date, time and location.
A: No. It communicates with an app on your smart phone. The app stores the last location. I hope this helps.
A: Hi Will! Our ONE-KEY TICK Tool and Equipment Tracker (48-21-2000) is an equipment tracker that is powered by our ONE-KEY app. This is all part of our comprehensive system for construction inventory management. You can learn more about ONE-KEY here - https://onekey.milwaukeetool.com/
A: I don’t think the device itself records anything. Rather the location is gathered by what app reads the device nearby. So if “Joe” has the One-Key app on his phone and the tick walks by “Joe” three the app on “Joe’s” phone can report to the internet its location and that it saw the tick. I think this is how it works…
A: Hello! You can only have one account claim ownership of the tick. However, with tracking, all enabled One-Key apps will receive the Bluetooth signal from your tick in the background and then send, you the tick owner, the tracking and location information. With Multi-user, you can share your account info with anyone and choose select roles and permissions for them to access your account with. In this case, multiple apps on multiple phones will be able to see the tick’s info, but it will still only be paired with the main admin account.
