The MILWAUKEE L/XL Yellow ANSI Type R Class 2 High Visibility Performance Safety Vest is designed to carry more. This hi-vis safety vest has 15 pockets, including a clear ID holder, rear tablet pocket, and three internal pockets that provide users with added storage. The front pockets are reinforced with durable 600D tear-resistant materials to withstand rough jobsite conditions. Milwaukee incorporated a comfortable padded collar to reduce pressure around users' necks. The quick internal size adjustment creates a better fit for the user, allowing the adjustable safety vest to be worn in the summer over a t-shirt or in the winter over a jacket. Class 2 high visibility safety reflective vests are recommended when working in environments with traffic traveling under 50 mph or when working around heavy machinery. This includes construction, road construction, traffic direction, utility crews, and survey crews.

I am a Citizens Emergency Response Team (CERT) member and we use safety vests for our preparedness pack. Milwaukee has made a very nice safety vest with exactly what I am looking for. It’s well made and durable with a cooling open weave. The cinch straps on the sides help adjust the vest to your shape. High visibility reflective strips are well placed on the vest. A clear front pocket let’s you show credentials so you don’t have to have a lanyard badge.

Though it is light it is strong. it is made of a breathable cloth material and is machine washable. It is bright yellow and orange with reflex strips sewn in for safety, No one will miss you in this vest. It is well made and should last years

Milwaukee made a great high visibility vest with lots of pockets and features. 9 pockets with velcro, an ID window/holder, back opening for fall protection ring pass thru, and a zipper closure. The material mesh is lightweight, breathable, fast drying and cool. There are also antimicrobial odor/bacterial properties. The reflective stripe illuminates brightly at night when a light shines on it. The size is listed as two combined sizes because it has an adjustable strap on the inside to size this properly, this feature is good to have the size big to cover thicker winter clothes, and then adjust the size smaller for summer use. This is an ANSI Class 3 rated vest which is based the amount of both reflective material and high visibility fabric making up the vest. Class 3 is has the greatest amount of reflective and high visibility material (Class 3 require a minimum of 210 square inches of material, which means a sleeveless version will not meet class 3 standards unless it is a very big size). Machine washable and dryable for a maximum of 25 cycles. Limited lifetime warranty.

This is a great vest. This is made from a more durable material than a normal mesh vest. It is very heavy duty . The pockets were large enough to hold my Smartphones. The largest phone I had on me was a Note 10. It took a little while to insert the phone into the inside pocket on the left but I was able to get it in there. One of the interior pockets on the right hand side has a zipper, well it's more of a pouch which is good. There is a pocket in the rear but I do not see myself using that. The loops near the chest are good for walkie talkies. This way you can ensure that you hear them by keeping them near your ears without using your hands. I sometimes use it with my measuring tape, and smaller lightweight ones work well. There is some cushioning for your Neck Bones which is good. I would like to see a remova le option got that, so you can easily wash it when it has absorbed a lot of sweat.

This vest has a ton of pockets to the point where I don’t even want to wear a toolbelt. First the size is L/XL and I am 5‘10“ about 175lbs and it fit me great. It has like a cool string on the sides to adjust it so it won’t be so bulky. This thing is pretty heavy duty and I even snagged it on an edge metal and it did not tear or anything. The material feels thicker than the usual material for the bright vest. It’s getting pretty hot outside and I didn’t feel like I was too hot in it more than usual. And it’s actually pretty lightweight considering all the pockets and features. The colors are really bright in a couple of guys on the job really liked it and said I stood out more than the cones themselves. I washed it once already lightly and it wasn’t too difficult to wash it. I ended up hang drying it because my dryer gets really hot. Storage on it is awesome. I could literally fit an iPad in the back of it. The zippers are really heavy duty and I’m sure they won’t just come on done. It literally has pockets everywhere for more than just pens. I do all kinds of work and I definitely would prefer to wear this over a toolbelt if I can. It’s definitely worth the money because it is a heavy duty vest. I will end up purchasing another one or maybe two more.

The Milwaukee Large/X-Large orange class 2 polyester mesh high visibility safety vest with 9-pockets is a light, comfortable vest that will definitely get you "seen" when you are working. The vest has a zipper closure, while the pockets are velcro closing. The bag it comes in is a resealable type bag and really makes it easy to throw this vest into a tool bag or case for easy transport. Because the vest is so light, it easily folds and actually fits back into the bag! I'll be wearing it when out on the road on my tractor or working near traffic. The reflector stripes make you easy to spot in the evening or at night. It will also be great for camping when I am riding my bike around in the campground or out on the road. With 9 pockets, you should have enough storage for a lot of stuff. All in all, a very nice lightweight vest for a lot of things requiring high visibility.

Pockets, pockets and more pockets. So many you can forget where you put things in the vest. The Milwaukee yellow class 2 Surveyors safety vest model 48-73-5162 does actually have 27 different pockets ranging from small pen holders to large zippered. Being class two the vest has less reflective material than class three and this vest is sleeveless. The vest is ¼ open mesh and ¾ solid 600 denier material with all arm openings, bottom, pockets and neck opening reinforced. The entire back is mesh but only the upper back is open with the lower back covered with a large zippered pocket made from the 600 Denier material. This large pocket is identified for possible tablet storage but could be used for lunch, raincoats etc. as it is very large and zippered. The upper back has a fall protection pass through opening. All the zippers are heavy duty with the main front and large rear having pull tassels. There are four mic or mic cord holders, all on the upper chest each side, two inside and two outside the vest. There are two water bottle holders with elastic draw strings on each side along with adjustable waist cord each side. The collar is padded and there are six reinforced ½ inch metal eyelets on the front of the vest along with aa clear I.D. holder pocket. The padded collar is a must have as you can feel the additional weight of the 600 Denier material on your neck ands shoulders. The vest fit just as nice over tee shirt as it did over a winter hoodie, plenty of freedom. I used this vest cutting a few trees on my property as I could carry all my wedges and other items in the vest and not having to carry a bag. I also use this around large equipment to remain visible to the operators. I did use it for grade layout and again the high visibility material made a big difference. Very well made and rugged vest, recommended.
