These tools are overkill for that job, a straight razor blade in a holder (sold by HD) or a utility knife blade in a plastic holder (also sold by HD) would do that job. I believe there is also a caulking removal tool that HD sells. The seal is usually either silicone caulk or plumbers putty & in some cases tile grout, the knife will remove all of them. The trick is to get the blade flat to the caulk and undercut it, a regular utility knife can't get low enough to do that. If you found this helpful please click on the thumbs up, thanks!
