Q:Can you get bit holder inserts to fit this case?
I would like to add some 1/4" drive bits in this case. The Small to Medium are one bit width to short and the Large box holders are even shorter.

Terrible case design
I have not even used the drill bits yet, but already hate the case. The set I ordered on Sep 21, 2023. The case is not a continuous hinge like is shown in the picture. It has 2 separate hinges with a finger sized gap in the middle. If you hold the case like I did you will hate it as soon as you close the case. As far as the drill bits go, I plan of saving these for light duty (no metal) so I don't break any.

I wasn’t impressed
I paid top dollar for these 40!It did help to bite faster an prevent some walking. The double tip isn’t present on the smaller bits so they aren’t designed with the same technology so that’s no good. I was drilling some angle iron an running it hard had them literally explode in my face it was the two big bits be careful

Break easily
Trying to drill pilot holes thru stainless steel metal I broke several bits (1/16" (2), 5/64" (2), 3/32" and 7/64" (2)). Also burnt out the tip of the 1/4" drill bit drill on regular metal.

I recently received the MILWAUKEE SHOCKWAVE 1/2 IN. DRIVE METRIC 6 POINT IMPACT SOCKET SET (29-PIECE). I have owned many different socket set threw the years, but this set is absolutely the best I have ever owned. The quality is great, the fact that you can read the sizes is absolutely the best. I wish I had a set like this years ago and I would not had to buy so many different sets.

I have several Milwaukee products and have found the quality to be excellent. This impact socket set is no exception. It is very well made and comes in a sturdy case. The set has a multitude of uses. So far I have used it to remove bolts from my lawnmower blades and to loosen and put back together the tight bolts in my tractor. This product has a lifetime warranty; I highly recommend it.

I just used the Milwaukee Shockwave 1/2 inch drive metric six point impact sockets to retorque my lugs, and I'm highly pleased with them. In the sockets I used, the hex extends 30mm deep into the socket. The result is that you get a really nice, firm grip on your lugs. This set would have saved me days installing headers on my car by avoiding rounded fasteners. As you can see in the photos, the sockets are quite deep. They give you enough depth that you don't need an extension to clear the fenders on a car. I like that the socket size is stamped and ink filled near the base of each socket. The set as a whole is hefty - about 24 pounds. The set also has a high quality carrying case with the about best latches I've seen on on a tool kit.

SHOCKWAVE 1/2 in. Drive Metric 6 Point Impact Socket Set (29-Piece) Well made heavy duty impact deep well sockets that fits nicely into a heavy duty plastic case with two metal clasps to secure the case when closed. The markings are well seen on every socket since they are all stamped and filled with white paint, very easy to see the markings. The inside of the sockets have a design that prevents rounding off stubborn bolt heads and nuts. ( non slip hex geometry ) Since I change my own brakes and rotors and rotate my own tires, these will come in handy. The bigger sockets are great if you do work on a 5 ton or 10 ton dump truck and various other large equipment. Even though these sockets are made in China they do have a lifetime warranty. If you have problems with a socket contact Milwaukee for a replacement. Well organized socket set in a great heavy duty plastic storage case. A great addition to my work shop. I highly recommend these heavy duty impact sockets.

Does not hold up to stainless steel
I have always believed that Milwaukee tools were high quality. I have both their 12V Cordless Impact Driver and Drill. Also have a couple of their lights. I purchased their Shockwave drill bits and impact driver sets to use with the impact driver and drill. I had my first opportunity to use these drill bits yesterday; had to drill holes on our stainless steel baking rings. The drill bits could not even make it through 3 holes. I dug out my old Black & Decker drill bits to finish the job. Now I'm stuck with expensive and useless bits. Not recommended.

CAUTION ON REMOVING BITS!!!!
The smaller bits are stacked above larger ones. They are hard to get out and you will cut your fingers on the larger bits as you try to remove them. Putting them back in is just as bad and hard on your skin. Gloves help but make it difficult as well. Beware of minor cuts and scrapes when removing or putting back. Horrible design for packaging and handling! Liability issue here! Hope my fingers don’t get infected!!!
