Mycelium madness
Unfortunately this mix has infested 6 of my plants with fungus. I noticed the first mushroom in March, a few weeks after repotting several plants, and I went to a forum for advice. They said it is mycelium and not harmful to the plant. It’s now taken over 6 and continues to pop out more spores even if I wait 2 weeks for the soil to completely dry. I’ve never had a problem with the regular potting mix.

Houseplants are thriving
I’ve been using potting, indoor, tropical, and succulent mix for all my various plants. I’m not a pro (yet) who can customize my own soil.. aside from an added dose of perlite here and there. So Miraclegro has been a lifesaver. I’ve been buying soil from Lowes not this website but wanted to drop a good review since it’s been so helpful, thank you MG!

Even texture and excellent compactability
I have been potting and repotting house plants in my homes over the last 50 years this was the first time I've used this miracle grow potting soil and I am impressed with it The texture and evenness of the soil is excellent and I was able to pack it firmly around the plant evenly and even pack down firmly there's good water penetration and not very much expansion I'm very pleased with it and gave it four stars Time will tell how it works out for the little China doll plant I added in my home but we are off to a great start

Mold!
I’ve had an issue with every type of Miracle Grow potting soil except the kind for succulents. It holds moisture horribly and grows mold. This is the latest “version” of miracle grow I’ve purchased and this is the fastest I’ve gotten mold growth. I purchased on January 2 and within a week my plant looked like this. Would not recommend.

Greatly Reduces Watering Frequency!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a large Croton that was in dire need of repotting. Decided to give Miracle-Gro Indoor Potting Mix a try, and am glad I did. This plant guzzles water, and immediately starts dropping leaves if the soil dries out. This potting mix appears to have a high level of peat (or some similar moisture-absorbing matter). Since repotting in this potting mix, I have been giving the plant a good soaking about once every two weeks, and it is thriving. I am very pleased, and will definitely use this product in the future.

Fungus! Holds too much moisture
I got Miracle-Gro to repot a large plant that was getting too big for her previous pot. For the first couple weeks she seemed to be doing well (and even getting greener!). Unfortunately, after about a month in, the new soil started to grow fungus and the fungus spread throughout the soil! I was only watering the plant every 4-5 days with moderate amount of water (the same I was doing with previous soil). The mold anf fungus has taken over the soil.. I am now seeing that other reviews are also noting that this soil holds too much moisture and grows fungus. Wish I had seen them before purchasing this product. Although it seemed to be working well for the plant at first, it has caused me more trouble in the long run, because now I have to deal with getting rid of fungus and repotting with new soil. I definitely do not recommend Miracle-Gro.
