A: The amount used will be based on not only the size of the pot/planter but also the size of the plant's rootball, and how full the pot is filled. When filling the pot, fill approximately 1/3 full (more or less depending on the size of the rootball), then fill around the rootball to the base of the plant. Actual coverage will vary depending on the size of the rootball.
