Good question! Rust-Oleum Miracle Sealants 511 Seal & Enhance is not water-soluble and should be cleaned up with xylene or mineral spirits. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 5
No, this will not make the shower floor slippery. The miracle sealant will work great in the shower just remember to wipe up any excess a few minutes after applying.
Thanks for reaching out Kate! Rust-Oleum Miracle Sealants 511 Seal & Enhance covers up to 1000 sq. ft. per quart. Coverage varies on the porosity of the surface being sealed. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 6
I did 2 coats, I also let it dry overnight after doing both... I thin a couple house in between coats should do it :).
Happy to help JB. Yes, Rust-Oleum Miracle Sealants 511 Seal & Enhance can be used on granite with a leather finish. Apply 511 Seal & Enhance as directed on the label, allow to remain on the surface for 3-5 minutes. After that time wipe all excess solution off the surface with a clean towel, do not allow it to dry on the surface. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 6
Thank you for reaching out, Tricey! While Rust-Oleum 511 Seal and Enhance can be used on natural stone surfaces, we do not recommend it for use on loose stones, as it will be difficult to coat the surface and remove excess sealer. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 3
I have the same issue. I had used this same product ~3 yrs ago (3 coats I think), with no problems. This time I only have one coat on and after ~12hrs it is still significantly sticky. I was hoping to put a thicker coating on, but I still followed the instructions correctly, I thought (apply, wait 5 minutes, wipe away excess). The only thing I can think of is that I used the remaining sealant from 3 yrs ago - perhaps that is it? The bottle was stored inside and still sealed. I have a new bottle now too. I am wondering if I need just wait for it to dry (fans are running) or if I need to try applying the new stuff and that will dry faster?
Great question! Rust-Oleum Miracle Sealants 511 Seal and Enhance is suitable for use on granite surfaces. With any application, we recommend a test application first to ensure the desired results. Make sure the surface is clean and dry at the time of application and that it is allowed to cure for at least 12-24 before returning to service, We recommend keeping it dry for 72 hours after application for optimal results. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 3
Good question. Yes, Rust-Oleum Miracle Sealants Seal & Enhance can be applied after using Miracle Sealants 511 Impregnator. Liberally apply Seal & Enhance and allow it to penetrate the surface for 3-5 minutes, then wipe up all excess with a clean towel. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 6
Great question. Rust-Oleum Miracle Sealants 511 Seal & Enhance can be applied to your slate floor, this will improve depth in color without gloss. Another option is Rust-Oleum Miracle Sealants Mira Matte, this also will enhance depth of color but provide a satin sheen. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Miracle-Sealants-32-oz-Mira-Matte-Finish-Sealer-Color-Enhancer-MIRMAT-QT-SG/100672951 - Rust-Oleum Product Support 6
