    A:  Yes, you soak it in water and then wring it out a bit and then wear it, the instructions were on the hat

    A:  The hat J bought my husband is not at all heavy. All he does is get it really wet let some of the extra moisture drip out, goes outside puts the hat on and goes about his day. He loves it.
