A:  If you are trying to eliminate mold, IMO this will work on concrete basement walls. It worked well removing mold on my patio pavers. The work area should be well veltilated!

          Answer This Question

A:  The product is basically concentrated bleach. It will not hurt concrete if used as directed. I am not sure about wood, but I would try applying to a small area first. Try contacting the manufacturer.

A:  Thank you for contacting us. Mold Armor Concrete Cleaner Mold and Mildew Remover kills mold on sealed brick and concrete. We do not recommend for use on slate, marble, limestone, or wood because these are all considered porous surfaces.

A:  I would suggest another product. This works well for windows,  siding and my deck with vinyl railing, but to clean real limestone I would look into a different product.

                  Gets The Job Done
The concrete cleaner is a powerful cleaner. It removed the mold and mildew areas of the walkway and driveway effectively and effortlessly. I also used it on the brick siding and the look was amazing. I was impressed with how well it did the job and how easy it was to apply the cleaner. I had to be careful when using the product because of the powerful bleach-based formula, but I was impressed with how well it worked.

It's definitely better than other similar products
My driveway was really gone bad in last couple of years, and none of the other products worked. This really works in less than 10mins. and made significant improvement in first attempt. Here's what I found it needs multiple attempt to remove strong mold. Again 1 gallon is not sufficient for more than 80 sft.

This stuff works really well. I only sprayed a small amount on my 30 year old driveway and it rally got rid of the dingy color. I sprayed it on initially with a small spray bottle to see if it would actually work on cleaning up the driveway discoloration, and it actually did. I'm going to take my four gallon sprayer and now do the whole driveway. It will look as if I've gotten a new driveway poured.

MOLD ARMOR 1 GAL. CONCRETE CLEANER MOLD AND MILDEW REMOVER does exactly what it said it would. We have a cement sidewalk with a screened room on one side and a perennial garden on the other side. My husband applied the product. At this point I started to panic. It has a bleach odor to it. You apply it, wait 10 minutes, and rinse it off. Rinsing it off meant it would be on my perennials. This was panic for me. I went online and found a customer service number. I spoke with a very nice woman who totally understood my fear. She told me to spray my plants with water just before Mold Armor was going to be rinsed off. Wet your plants, rinse Mold Armor off and rinse your plants. I can say the cement inside the screen room and outside looks great and my plants are great. What more can you ask for!

I really liked the effectiveness of this cleaner when used as redirected. I used the product by spraying areas of my house sliding, concrete walkway and concrete planters. This cleaner has a powerful bleach-based formula that acts as a mold and mildew cleaner on areas that can handle small amounts of bleach. It performed very well on my walkway and planters, although in some heavily contaminated areas I had to repeat the process. All I had to do was pre-soak the areas to prevent damage to nearby plants, then sprayed the product on the areas with mold and mildew and waited about 10 minutes for the product to penetrate. Then the final step was to thoroughly soak the area again with water to dilute and wash away the product. I found the best success on the shingles on the house that showed or demonstrate evidence of mold – spay it on, wait and wash it off – all gone with no scrubbing. I included a picture of the active ingredients so you can be the best judge of your purchase and use. I found the product to work extremely well, but DO BE CAREFULL about where the product touches – plants, scrubs, etc. Also because you’re working with bleach, please gloves and clothes you don’t mind ruining.

Our driveway and sidewalks are all done with pavers. I believe they were installed in 2007 and don’t think they have ever really been cleaned. So there was very visible dirt and mold build up on them. I decided to use the Mold Armor Concrete Sidewalk and Driveway Cleaner outdoor surface cleaner as it kills mold and mildew. It can be used on bricks too. We used it full strength in a plastic garden sprayer to apply the cleaner and let is soak 10 minutes. Divided the driveway and sidewalks into workable areas. I was going to use a garden hose but I do have access to a small 1200psi electric pressure washer so used that. As you can see by the photos the cleaner did a great job and our driveway and sidewalks are now free of mold and dirt!

Mold Armor Concrete Cleaner Mold and Mildew Remover (1 gallon) did a good job with parts of my driveway and not much effect on other sections. I would still say it’s a good product and I would recommend it. Most of my driveway looks much brighter. It took three gallons of the cleaner to cover my whole driveway which is about 380 square feet. I used a one gallon sprayer to apply the solution to the driveway. The cleaner is not a concentrate, so all that needs to be done is just pour the cleaner into a sprayer bottle and start applying the cleaner, let it sit for 10 minutes and use a garden hose to rinse the surface. I did let the solution stay on my driveway until I had the whole surface sprayed. Some of it dried before I rinsed it, and that’s the area that’s not as clean, so it could be user error. The whole process took about one hour. I would recommend safety glasses to protect against splashing and wear old clothes. I got some of the solution on my shorts and they are bleach stained now.

Overcast day followed directions. My eastside facing patio and sidewalk needed a spring cleaning. Poured a third of the gallon jug into my pump sprayer and followed directions. I sprayed evenly and a 6×6 ft concrete slab and a sidewalk square. Let it soak in for probably a good twelve minutes then rinsed it off according to instructions on the gallon bottle. Let the patio squares dry. The moss between my sidewalk and brick are totally gone. The smell of the product reminds of bathroom cleaner for the tub and shower area. The overall cleaning of the concrete are kind mixed in my opinion. This is 23 yr old concrete that gets power washed once a year. So it's not like the concrete is not maintained yearly. But overall I could not see any significant difference with one application of the Mold Armor product. Also in my case I had no mold or algae. I just wanted to spruce up the concrete. I feel for algae and moldy concrete this product would work well.

This product works very well, I like the simplicity of use of this product. You will want to have personal protective equipment on to use this product. Rubber gloves, goggles, an Apron, or some old work clothes that you don’t care about ruining if it gets on your clothes. You will also want to use this in a well ventilated area, if you use on your Garage floor make sure you have fresh air. You simply put this product in a garden/ lawn sprayer, spray product onto a dry surface, do not pre wet as it will dilute the product, let product stand for a minimum of 10 Minutes, take a garden hose , or pressure washer and rinse off, no scrubbing required. This product removes, mold, mildew, algae, stains, dirt and grime. Product is safe for plants, and grass when used as directed. This worked well for me as you can see from my submitted pics. You will be happy with this product.
