Could this be used as an indoor staircase runner?

AnswersI don't believe it is designed for that purpose. Indoor/outdoor rugs tend to be less flexible (more rigid) than regular carpet. Also, depending on the length of your staircase and amount of stairs, it could get costly. This is a question more aptly to be answered or posed to a professional carpet installer. Indoor/outdoor rugs wear well, but the runners, I believe, were designed to use on flat/floor surfaces only. I have used indoor/outdoor rugs for years in my kitchen and bath - they wear well, have great design and texture and are not your typical kitchen/bath rugs, so from affordability/wearability/design standpoints are excellent!
Is this water and mildew resistant?

AnswersThis rug is water resistant but not certified for mildew resistant, it is capable for outdoor use.

While I ordered another design of the same brand for my kitchen, this one was returned. The rug had a manufacturer's defect (very obvious one I might add in the design), so not happy with the quality of this purchase. I am still pondering what I will order in its place for the bathroom. Not a good buying experience.
