Each cup has a wide flared mouth to efficiently capture most of the rainwater with slightly indented and defined petals. This rain chain comes with a fixed triangular hanger for installation. You may want to consider a basin or anchoring stake to collect the water at the bottom.
wHAT IS THE WATER FLOW INDEX ON THIS RAIN CHAIN?
I do not know what the water flow index is for this rain chain. The amount of water that will flow in the buckets is based on the amount of rain at the time. The chain does provide a way for water to run down either inside the buckets or if the volume is higher on the outside also. I have two of these and the sound of the water flowing down the chain is a very pleasant sound as opposed to the rain inside a down spout. The design fits our yard very well.
