Don’t buy this grill unless you purchase it assembled!!! I’ve put together 5 grills and this one was the worst. The directions/diagrams weren’t clear and there was a page that was missing from the original assembly instructions—it was added as a separate page with no references or information. (See pic). The side burner could only be attached with a special screwdriver or ratchet. It requires two people to assemble as well. On top of our assembly issues — the correct number of screws weren’t included so we had to call the manufacturer and have additional screws sent. As noted by another reviewer, the assembly diagram isn’t for the configuration of this model so that was confusing as well. Finally, the finish on our stainless had stains all over it. (See pic). Will see how this holds up when we can finally use it.

This Monument grill took 3 hours to assemble. I’m a pretty detail-oriented guy, and by paying close attention to the instructions it went together just fine. One note: on page 14, Figure 14 – the cable for the battery box does not come down on the right side. It is on the left side, so except for location, the box affixes to the inside of the bottom cabinet similarly. I like that most of the user connections are threaded screws into captive ‘nuts’, as opposed to sheet metal screws. The finished product’s fit and finish are very good. The instructions claim that assembly can be made with just a Phillips Head screwdriver. I found two locations where an offset Phillips made the job MUCH easier. If all of this is intimidating, Monument’s website states: “You can purchase a grill from HomeDepot.com and have it shipped to store and they will assemble it for free.” The firebox and shelf surfaces are 430 stainless steel, but the base is painted (or maybe powder coated) steel. From the front, the painted portions are hidden by the SS doors. Monument’s website states they use wet rolled 304 SS on the burners (with an 8 year warranty), and the grates are porcelain coated cast iron. The grill has large caster wheels to more easily roll on uneven surfaces, and once positioned, the wheels lock. I look forward to Home Depot offering the rotisserie kit for this grill. I believe Monument Grills has achieved their goal (great value) with this Model 25392. It looks up-scale, is affordable (at the current price), and should last a long time due to the quality of the design and materials.

This grill does its job well. It heats up quickly thanks to the 4 burners so I can take my sous vide steaks and throw them on for a nice high heat sear. I'm pleased with the side burner as well, as I can prepare a vegetable saute or some mushrooms to go along with my protein. The LED controls are a nice touch and are bright enough to see in daylight. I also like having the double doors at the front of the grill to easily access the propane tank and have the ability to utilize the extra space for some storage. This was my first time putting a grill together but it was actually pretty easy. It took about 3 hours total, but only because the instructions could have been a bit clearer. The areas where I ran into difficulty was the attachment of the battery pack for the lights, because the instructions show the connection on the opposite side of where it is; and attaching the side burner to a metal flange (made easier after I found a stubby screwdriver to get into the tiny, hard to maneuver area). It was also odd that the instructions did not include securing the final 4 screws for the side shelves to the main unit. I noticed it at the end (and you will too) that there are left over screws and the sides aren't the most secure. However, I didn't have any fitment issues, missing or damaged parts. I really like this grill as its been performing very well so far. It also has a very attractive, practical design

Well, I had to actually cook on the grill before I could give it a proper review. First, the shipping was insane how fast it arrived. I know this will vary due to your location, but I order it on a Wednesday and it arrived on a Saturday. Mountain keeps you up to date on the status on your delivery. When I unboxed it, my first thought was “oh this may take a while”. Needless to say it took a little over 3 hours to assemble. For people like myself who like to build or assemble things, this is no problem. Others may want to have Home Depot assemble it for you which you’ll think was well worth the additional cost to assemble. There was 1 step in the directions that appears to be incorrect. I’ll show in a picture below. Assembly is not difficult, but there are a lot of parts that have to go together to make the grill. After I finished assembling the grill, I let the burners run on may for about 20 minutes to burn off any factory smell. The next night, I cooked hamburgers stuffed with a cream cheese / cheddar cheese / chopped jalapeños stuffing. They turned out amazing. So the grill passed the most important test, the cook test. I have been very pleased with this grill and would recommend it.

I have put together numerous grills and this one was by far the most difficult. Other than being difficult to assemble I am very happy with how the grill performs. Really like the lighted knobs.

Assembly was a nightmare
The directions to assembly this grill are a joke, a d the inability to reach areas to insert screws, etc. was a joke. Overall, the quality of the metal is very flimsy too.
