I used this once a few years ago and it worked great. These 2 boxes may have been old. It stuck together badly and ripped and in one place fell right off. It was very dry. The manufacturer should package it better.

Not what it once was
This is not the same mortite i used in the early 1980's to seal old farmhouse windows. The individual strands are not as thick, and the strands are difficult to unroll without pulling apart. It's like some ingredient is missing in the mixture. Nevertheless, it's still a decent product, but i am very disappointed in that it is not the excellent product it once was. Charge more and give us back the mortite it used to be, which was once a 5‐star product.
