Good Compact Alternative to a Propane Fire Pit
This heater is compact, aesthetic, and allows several people to stand near it without concern the flames will ignite clothing. Have not had it that long, but so far it has worked on our roofed porch (with two more sides it might even work better). It is stable due to the wide base. It is noisy at high output levels, but does not prevent conversation. The connection to the tank is an older, POL style with left-handed (counter-clockwise) threads and requires the use of a wrench.

The heater rocks perfect for 2 car garage ,once it reaches a comfortable temp of 60° in garage with an outside temp of 24° I turned it down to maintain 60° my garage is attached but is uninsulated and it performed well, the heater is not to load either ,you can easily talk over it, so far safe and reliable, it was only used twice so far, started right up each time

Instructions don't match the product I received
Is it really that hard to update manuals to match changes in a product? The MH80CVX I received does not match the instructions - the ignition knob rotates counterclockwise and functions differently, whereas the manual tells me to rotate the knob clockwise. Mr. Heater's website doesn't even include an updated manual - come on. You can see from the picture I attached that the knob will never turn clockwise when starting from the off position. Pretty sure this is going back to the store.

I bought 2 of these. One works perfectly, the other is very difficult to light. Once lit, they are awesome. I heat a 60 x 60 hangar with a 16 ft ceiling no problem. Once it’s caught up, I routinely shut one down to maintain comfort. All edges are sharp. It would be easy to cut yourself on them. Since HD doesn’t carry these in stock, I had to buy a 3rd one. Once it arrives I’ll return the bad one since I need heat.

Purchased this to use in my 1,200 sq ft shop. My shop is insulated, and I live in northeast Alabama, so I haven't used to it for heat when temperatures were below 40 degrees since I bought it. Temps have been in the low 40s, and it's done a great job heating on the very lowest setting. It does produce a little sound, but it's not loud on the lowest setting by any stretch. Overall, I'm extremely please with it. I wouldn't recommend it for use in an area where small children are playing, as it does get very hot.
