Product Details

Simply the most secure and cost-efficient way to beach your PWC or Small Craft. Put your fishing boat on a ramp made with these wheels and remove the drain plug to prevent water accumulation between utilisations. A very smart way to help you refuel your PWC without spillage and protect your turbine and hull against sand abrasion. Servicing and dry-docking a boat is made easier on a boat ramp. Wheels on the ramp allows the boat to be rolled up onto shore, either to be serviced or dry-docked. The box contains 8 wheels and all necessary hardware to install on a 2 in. x 8 in. lumber ramp.

Q:I recently purchased the SD1200 boat ramp kit. However, I need to extend the length from 16ft to 24ft. This means I need ONE more set of the SD1200 wheels. I do not need 4 sets as that would be a waste of money. Is there any way to purchase one set?

A:  Hello Barry, Right now, we only offer these wheels in box of 8. Your demand will lead us to consider the possibility of creating a smaller set.       A:  Hello, Yes we've seen many customers doing that. Just make sure to have supports underneath the ramp the keep a straight shape all the way. You will also need steel hardware to ensure the sturdiness of the assembly. You can also consider building this ramp using the double rollers model 34111. Thanks for asking!

        A:  Hello Doug, These wheels are only sold 8/pack. To do the installation that you have in mind, wheels with bearing systems are recommended. If you proceed with this installation, it's really important to install guiding rails for the wheels on the floating dock section. Good luck with your project!

          A:  they are sturdy units but I feel that the more you have will be beneficial by distributing the weight evenly. The pin that runs through the hub would be the first to fail in salt water conditions, but nothing is for ever. If it were stainless steel throughout ,that would be something! best of luck

              Hi Moco, You are correct and it's our mistake, originally we did have Aluminum but then decided to go with Galvanized Steel which is so much more strong than Aluminum can be. We'll make the corrections ASAP and apologize for the inconvenience!

              Think twice about ordering, this is not Amazon you are dealing with...Especially if your project is time sensitive
              The product worked as I expected however Home Depot's choice of a supplier is at best questionable. The product was direct-shipped from the supplier to my home via UPS. Obviously this supplier did not take into consideration that durability of packaging is important (ISTA has excellent protocols to validate shipping). The Shipping box was crushed, the zip-lock bag containing the hardware was in was torn and it appeared to be recycled. The quality of the bag would be minimally appropriate for a sandwich but not 10 lbs of galvanized and stainless steel hardware. To top off this experience, the supplier neglected to add the wheel bushings which rendered the product unusable and it had to be returned to the local home depot. Prior to returning the product, I contacted the Home depot help desk to see if they could resolve this issue. They could not or would not send replacement bushings and directed that the product be returned to the local Home Depot. When I ordered the replacement product, Home depot had the Gall to tell me the price increased by $10. When I challenged them, they relented and conceded the price increase. When the replacement order arrived, the packaging was in worse condition, but the bushing were included. Home depot needs to be more selective of their suppliers and audit their performance if they want to continue playing in Amazon's direct fulfillment space
