Hello Doug, These wheels are only sold 8/pack. To do the installation that you have in mind, wheels with bearing systems are recommended. If you proceed with this installation, it's really important to install guiding rails for the wheels on the floating dock section. Good luck with your project!
I would say no...I have an 12 foot aluminum boat which is very light in weight. The wheels are of a plastic material or resin and roll very easily. In my opinion they will work for you.
the set i got had 8 wheel kits , each set had 1 wheel, 2 brackets, 1 center bolt nut and sleeve and 2 attachment bolts and nuts
Hi Eugenie, on the webpage there is the assembly guide with all the suggested lumber lenght and all the requested components. We love it when our customer community try and share new ways of assembling our products to fit their needs but there is too many specifications to consider in switching from wood to aluminum ( strength of your aluminum extrusion, mixed of galvanised bolts with aluminum...) that it would be impossible for us to tell you a final yes or no. Nevertheless, we've created some kayak and pontoon aluminum ramp kits so the possibilities are endless I guess...
Hello, I don't have the exact capacity per wheel so I don't want to give you wrong information. But using this kit of 8 wheels, you will be able to winch up your PWC up to 1200 lbs.
