A: Not reflective, just red duct tape.
A: I had no such problem with mine. Sometimes with these types of tapes you have to be careful when starting them. Or if a box cutter snags a roll when a case is opened, that can be a problem. If packaging on the roll was not perfectly intact, it could be a product handling issue somewhere along the line. I have been very happy with this product and with Home Depot. Flukes do happen to all products. Contact HD or manufacturer and ask for replacement. What you describe is not normal.
A: Thank you for your question. Like most duct tapes, Nashua 2280 is moisture resistant but would not be considered 100% waterproof. Best of luck with your project.
A: Thank you for your question. Yes, Nashua 2280 resists water and moisture, but is not designed for permanent outdoor exposure. Over time, and with exposure to direct sunlight, the rubber adhesive will dry out (this is common of all regular duct tapes). An alternative for patching a sheet metal storm door would be Nashua Waterproofing Repair Tape, also available at The Home Depot. It features a paintable foil backing and permanent butyl adhesive that will withstand the elements. Best of luck with your project.
