The specifications say 14 inches high but the photos in the reviews show the firepit looking more like 18 inches. Has the product changed?

Answer

No, it is definitely 14" tall.

What is the diameter of the steel ring provided?

Asked by BW April 28, 2020

Answer

It is not perfectly round, but it’s about 42-44” round. I think you can form it a bit to be more perfectly round, if you want.

Can you make the fire pit smaller if you buy a different ring?

A great addition to my back yard. Built it solo and looks great, if it will stop raining I look forward to burning some logs and enjoying with friends and bourbon.

The fire pit was relatively easy to assemble. Looks great. I had it delivered luckily because it was 1500 lbs, we had to carry it piece by piece to the back yard because of the weight. Like this kit because it came with the metal ring.

Great early summer project. Took about 5 hours with my son. I actually rented a flat plate tamper to prep the ground and the stone. Great finished product .

This fire pit is a simple step-by-step build that's easy for even the most amateur. If you want to get the blocks to line up and stack properly, be prepared to spend a couple of hours making adjustments and even then the final alignment won't be perfect. However, if you're not an engineer and don't want to measure and plan out a fire pit but still want a professional look then this is the fire pit for you.

Looks great. The pieces vary a little in size and it's a bit of a puzzle getting it together. If you are placing within a new patio you may want to build it first and have the patio poured around it. It is a little bigger than the 60"

I looked at having a stacked stone fire pit built for me and then saw this on-line at Home Depot. Watched the video on installation and decided to give it a try. With about 1 hour if prep time, me and my 15 year old daughter put this together in less than 2 hours. Very happy with the results.

It was definitely a workout and it took me about 3 1/2 hours to get it just right. Looks great in our backyard and the size is perfect, much bigger than others I've seen.
