        A:  I hand wash using hot water. Since it is for hummingbirds, I would not recommend using a dishwasher or any cleaning solutions other than water, and maybe some white vinegar.

                There is no way to attach the hanger. That part...
                There is no way to attach the hanger. That part is too short. Luckily I was replacing one with this one and could use the old bottom piece. Disappointed!

                  easy cleaning and draws hummers
                  i love the look of this feeder. the one i bought is red and yellow. it's super easy to clean. ant proof? no, not really. i put water in the little reservoir in the center and i have an ant swimming in the sugar water right now. they can bypass the top entry and just crawl over to the feeding port and crawl in the hole. these are big ants too! i admit. i didn't have this problem last year except for a couple of random ants. this year, many are finding their way in. can't seem to keep the squirrels out of this either
