Can this be installed in an metal pre-fab garage?
The VersaRac Pro is designed for installation into solid wood ceiling studs or supports and is not intended to be mounted directly to steel beams or unsupported metal structures. Since pre-fabricated metal garages vary in design, we recommend confirming with the garage manufacturer or a qualified installer that the ceiling structure can safely support the rack before installation. Hi can I attach this to a concrete ceiling?
The VersaRac Pro is specifically designed and safety-tested for installation into wooden ceiling studs only, and we do not recommend attempting to mount it to a concrete ceiling. Can this be installed into garage trusses?

VersaRac Pro units must be installed into structurally sound, solid wood overhead supports using 3” lag bolts. The system is rated for up to 800 lbs when evenly distributed, but only when mounted into wood members capable of supporting that load. We recommend inspecting your ceiling structure or consulting a professional to confirm the trusses are suitable. VersaRac Pro is designed for installation into wooden ceiling studs or supports only and should not be mounted to steel beams. NewAge Products cannot verify or guarantee the load capacity of the structure the unit is mounted to.
Will a 4x8 sheet of plywood fit between the posts without trimming?
Hey Mike, the space between the posts measures about 3.91 ft wide by 7.94 ft long, so a full 4x8 sheet of plywood would be just a bit too big to fit without trimming.

Is there a way to install this withOUT the added safety lip? I would like to store 24 gallon action packers (19" W x 26.5" L) and a 4x8 rack would handle 10 of them, except I need the action-packers to barely hang over the edge. I can secure them myself.
