Strong chemical smell
These look nice over concrete and look almost as realistic as the expensive artificial turf I had installed (in rolls) as a substitute for a lawn. However the majority of grass tiles I received emit strong VOCs from the plastics used to make the grass. The strong chemical smell has persisted for over a month outdoors and is overpowering. I'm not sure it will ever go away; if it doesn't, they will be thrown out. For this reason I cannot recommend these grass tiles.

Easy to install on my small concrete 2nd floor deck....
Easy to install on my small concrete 2nd floor deck. I laid down 4 rows of 1x3 Icelandic Smoke composite tiles and bordered the side edges with the 1 foot grass tiles. 4x11 surface laid in about 45 minutes. Time will tell how long it lasts facing the Atlantic Ocean and the brutal Florida sun. Under $500 and I was very pleased. It has already been tested by extremely high winds and not a bit of lift!

Very cheap fake grass. Fibres we’re coming off every time I breathed on it. Find something better

Make sure to install the grass all facing the same way. You can kinda use your hand to change the direction, slightly. It's got a natural look to it when it's all going in the same direction. If you've got them mixed and matched all over it will look bad.

Cool product- a bit challenging to snap together due to the grass fiber obscuring edges. Just take your time.
Do not force or use hammer- you will break the tabs. If you get it lined up right, it almost falls into place. Grass takes a week or two to fluff back up after being mashed down in the packaging. I recommend laying the tiles with the grass going all the same direction . You can fluff it up with a stiff broom .
Used for a small area outside my hot tub. It feels good underfoot, drains well, and keeps the dirt from my flagstone patio from getting into the hot tub. Looks great so far- will see how it holds up as weather gets warmer.
