what kind of screws are use to install these clips?

AnswerHi, Uri. We do not provide screws for the AW08 siding clips since there is variation into the types of substrates they are installed into. We recommend stainless steel or galvanized #8 screws, with a penetration of 1.25’’-1.5’’ (enough to penetrate the substrate), and with a pan head screw head.

Very unique composite wood product. It's fluted, so if you want the flutes to land at a certain point across your window or exterior door edges, you have to plan carefully. I'd recommend laying the boards out first. Overall, the finished product looks amazing and you can tell it's durable. (I did a vertical installation, but the product is better suited to a horizontal installation.) Note: Be careful during transportation -- the lip of the boards seemed to crack easily when stressed. Luckily for me, these cracks were able to be concealed half the time behind the next sequential board. I had to return a couple boards due to the amount of cracking that occurred during transportation.
