The boxed-off Info & Guides section has a Use and Care Manual that will give you some guidance on how to extend the life of this product, along with some tips on sealing it.
A: Yes, you have to stain or seal them yourself.
A: It's not recommended using a small screw to secure to post.
A: Yes a screw can be used with a small head but first pre-drill it.
