A: This product is not recommended to use in the oven because of it's wooded handle. It will BURN

A: If you remove the wooden handle. Non-stick = you must condition any cast-iron cooking items.

A: Hello 1987, you can season it the same as any other cast iron product. Lining it with coats of oil. I would not put in in an oven since it has a wooden handle. Nexgrill

Sometimes things just appear out of the woodwork. I have been looking for this device for a while, and just never found one. Who would have thought that I would find it in the BBQ department of Home Depot? No more crinkled bacon. This is just what is needed to press the bacon flat while it cooks. Hint: you will need an 11 or 12 inch pan for this to work. It is also useful for cooking on an outdoor grill.
