Color was awful
I got a sample from the manufacturer. The color is awful. It was like they painted the whole thing a uniform gray color with tiny specs of different shades painted over it. It did not look like the photo at all. Imagine if you had stone on your house and just used gray paint to paint over all the stone. That's the way it looked. The simulated spaces between the stones was very shallow so people can tell it's a piece of styrofoam from a long distance away.

Wow Pewter is one of the most popular colors and the Slatestone profile is widely used because of it's great grout lines. So sorry you didn't like!

Cons: expensive for what you get, the actual measurements for stone per panel is only 6 1/4 high. Not 8 as described So plan accordingly
Overall it’s a nice product But price seems a bit out of wack

Thank you for your Review. The Product Overview on the Vendor Sites states "Manufactured with specially formulated polyurethane and combined with fire retardants and UV inhibitors, NextStone insulated stone siding panels and accessories are cast from actual stone and rock patterns."
Polyurethane is a form of "Foam" and is used for various types of applications, i.e. construction, automotives, household appliances and furnishings. It is light weight and has heat insulations properties that are a valuable asset for these types of commodities.
You will find that most FAUX STONE products are made from this material.

Slatestone Onyx 8.25 in x 43 in x 1.5" Faux Stone
looks qood on the house - Delivery was fast and on time.
Very expensive though for a few pounds of foam.
It will be interesting to see what the durability of the product is like. It has a 20 year warranty but for the price it should be 100 years

It goes up fast, looks gorgeous. The actual product was more of a taupe color than cream color shown in pictures, but I like it better. Will be buying more. My husband & family loved it too & they can be a hard sell
