Asked by JT April 18, 2021Hello JT, There should be no issue working with a macerator pump. The only concern would be the position of the plumbing hookups. This unit has a drain outlet center positioned 4" off the floor. Some macerator units have the inlet positioned 7" off the floor.
Would this toilet replace an existing wall mount toilet? Would the outlet match up?
Asked by Ace April 14, 2021Hello Ace, This model is a floor mounted, rear outlet toilet. The outlet center is set 4" off the floor. For a wall mounted unit, the drain center is usually set 7" above the floor. In that case, it would not match.
how does it secure to the floor, or does the rear plumbing connection keep it stable?
Asked by shoey March 25, 2021Hello shoey, The rear connection provides good support, but it is also recommended to at least caulk around the base of the toilet to further secure. There are also openings on the base which can allow someone to use anchor bolts to secure to the floor.
