AnswersYes? (I don't have a 2" bar to test, but I have it hanging on an 1 1/2" conduit and there is plenty of room to spare.)

Purchased several of these style of Carabineers, to carry all my required Stevedore/Longshoreman work tools. Demand high-quality, durable, strong, products made to last and withstand the hard Industrial Maritime Work Environment. This particular Carabiner, style allows me to carry my heavy lashing & tie down tools easily, also allows for worker friendly "quick" removal of cheater pipe, Pipewrench, 4 pound hammer, and 10 inch Crescent Wrench, on and off hundreds of time a day. This product meets the grueling test of real Longshoreman!!!! That says alot, cause we are demanding & rugged "Tradesmen".

I have several of these that I attach to the extendable handles of my Pelican 1510 and 1610 cases as I pull them through airports. I also clip both ends of the S-Biner through the 1510 end handle when it is placed in the overhead bin. If you are tall the extendable Pelican handles may not be long enough and you may end up clipping yourself in the back of the knees as you walk; attaching a #10 S-Biner through the hand grip relaxes the stress on your wrist and makes for an easy walk through airports et alia.

I’m not sure how much I can say about this because it is a pretty basic but useful device. You can use it to hang anything up for storage. It is made of plastic but with stainless steel enclosures that are sprung so that they stay closed. It is very reasonably priced so it could be a nice little gift that anyone could use.
It is rated with a 100 pound capacity which is pretty high.

This carabiner is much larger than I expected, which is fine. It seems very solid and sturdy. It held up a 50 lb. bag easily when we tested it. I plan to use it to store some cords at this point. Later, I may switch it to hold the hay scale if the sturdiness holds up the way it seems to. So far, I am very pleased with versatility of this carabiner.

I was looking for a large hook to hang my 100' heavy duty extension cord on, when I found this Plastic Carabiner in Black. It met and exceeded my expectations. I use this cord a lot outdoors in the summer and it really gets heavy, especially when winding it up. This carabiner does the trick. As seen in the attached pictures, it is strong and hold the weight. I can hang it anywhere that's convenient.

This carabiner is great for storing and transporting extension cords. I can hang a 14 gauge 50 foot extension cord and 12 gauge 75 foot extension cord from it with no visual deflection. In addition to extension cords, it can be used when transporting grocery bags or hanging up things such as leaf blowers and edge trimmers. Weight capacity is 100lbs and I have no doubt that it can safely handle this much weight as construction of both the body and clips is sturdy.

The weight capacity is great for hanging & storing hoses, cords, etc. The size of the "jaws" makes it easy to clip onto bars of storage shelves, the side-handles of a toolbox, or any other member such as a 2x2. Because of its weight rating a person could also hang it from a single wall-mounted eyelet and hang multiple items from the bottom using husky velcro hangers with the snap hooks. Not big enough for a really long hose though (like our 100' hoses).
