More useful than i thought
I have one of the less heavy duty versions of this gear tie and I really liked it's usefulness and functionality. This model is a much sturdier version and I like the thought that went into this. This one has a loop at the top which makes securing things like hoses and extension cords much simpler to do. You can essentially wrap this over itself and tighten it using the loop. Very well thought out.
My wife ordered a table and some chairs that I had to pick up. I used this to secure the leg of one of the chairs to the table to keep it from flying off my truck. My only complaint is that it was supposed to be two in a pack and as you can see from the photo, this is a one pack. I would still recommend this though.

Big and strong
When I ordered this Nite Ize 32in Gear Tie, I did not notice that it was this big. It is useful for tying down and/or hanging big loads. It is rigid enough that it does not open back easily so it holds well. The loop at one end is useful for hanging things or locking the gear tie after wrapping. Overall, it is a good looking but more importantly good quality product.

Simple, Durable and Effective Gear Tie
The Nite Ize 32 in. Gear Tie in Black is simple, durable, and effective. We like to use gear ties to secure lawn tools to the rafters in our shed. Although I only received a single pack, not a 2-pk. this is extremely thick and strong; 10 mm diameter and can hold 50 lbs. The loop at the top is convenient for hanging and bundling or to loop together to add additional length. There are so many uses for gear ties: you can use to secure power cords and garden hoses, hang bird feeders, tie down tarps and hang buckets. I think it’s even strong enough to hang our small electric pressure washer. They are waterproof and UV resistant so Nite Isengard gear ties can stand up to extreme conditions.The best part is that these are completely reusable, unlike zip ties that secure but are a one use item. I recommend these to anyone looking for a product to safely secure and hang just about anything.

A Million Options for Tying Stuff!
We have had this product before in a variety of sizes but never a 32inch size. Since we are avid campers and Rv'ers, these gear ties come in handy. They are easy to maneuver and twist and they stay that way. We love them for hoses, piping, camping gear, etc. This 32 inch one is called the "loopable mega" and you can see the round loop for fastening on the picture below. These ties are also good for outdoor as well. The wire inside is strong and holds well. It is not weight-rated, but you can bundle a 50' hose with it and it stays well. We have already purchased several more of these for different uses. Highly recommend them.

Franken-sized Twist Tie!
This is an extremely strong twist tie. This “Gear Tie” is as thick as my little finger (⅜” diameter) and weighs 3-½ ounces. It lifted my 50-pound barbell with just a single simple twist around the handle (see photo). I slipped it through the handgrips on my power tower, and it held my full body weight (about 160 pounds). I haven’t found a suitable use for it yet. I ordered it out of curiosity. It does hold my 100-foot , 22-lb, ⅝” dia extension cord, but that cord actually lays more neatly when held by three velcro straps. The loop at the end adds versatility as I can loop it over a branch or pipe and then twist the other end over whatever -- maybe a black bucket for a campshower? I think it would hold an extension ladder strapped to a truck’s rack even at 70mph. I am a little surprised that Nite Ize does not mention any specification for its strength. I already own several smaller Nite Ize Gear Ties. A couple of them have been holding hoses near unsheltered spigots out in my back field for over a year, and those ties are still as flexible and strong as when they were new.

The Best!!!
I got my first set at the Modern Marine Expo at Quantico several years ago. Since then I have used them to hold down four 25# weights that hold down my vendor tent at several different farmers markets. They work better than just about anything that I have tried before.
