These tiedown straps from NITE IZE are just the thing to secure large bulky items for transport. I’ve already used them for a couple things including my kayak during shipment. They are easy to use and once locked down are very secure. The buckle has “teeth” inside it which grip the nylon strap and prevent it from slipping. These won’t replace large ratchet straps but they are super handy to have for smaller jobs.

These tie-downs are do not have hooks or ratchets. This set of tie-downs work by looping the end of the nylon webbing back through the buckle more like a belt. These straps are 12' long and these work by a simple spring friction that holds everything in place. To tighten these down you just need to pull on the end of the webbing. I did not have any issues with the webbing slipping backwards through the buckle. All in all these are a great strap that I've added to my camping gear because you'll never know when one of these things will come in handy.

These tie down straps are convenient, and somewhat easy to use. The rubber bottom is a great feature to protect whatever you're securing, or whatever you're securing the item to. The ends are cut at a 45 degree angle, making it a little easier to thread the strap through the camjam. The instructions are thorough, but it's definitely not super easy to install. The videos on the Nite Ize website are helpful, and easily found via the QR code on the packaging. However, after you throw away the cardboard packaging you have to google to find the videos again. Maybe the QR code could be on the rubber protector somewhere? The camjam is a handy tool. I would probably get it again.

These are some good high quality straps used for securing whatever it is that you are hauling. The straps are not tightened by a ratcheting handle but by wrapping the straps around whatever you are securing and running a strap through the one with the teeth and pulling tight with your arms and muscle as tight as you can get it and to loosen push back on the handle and it lets go of the strap.

Ordered these tie down straps to replace some old ones my husband has been using to tie things down in the bed of his pickup. These are SO much nicer than the old ones. They have very nice straps, with a good weight of strap, both in width and thickness. They are not overly bulky but look and feel super solid. The adjustments are easy to make and the clamp part is very well designed and very solid. These were a big step up from the old ones he used and he's very happy with them.

Occasionally we all need to tie something down in or on our trucks and cars this particular tie down device comes with a one inch wide, twelve foot long nylon strap. It has a positive locking mechanism when routed properly through the latch. The only thing you need is some type of rail to run the strap around then around whatever you ar wanting to tie down. A luggage rack works well or if your truck has tie down bracelets.

The tie-down straps are lightweight, but strong, and should last a long time. They are significantly different than traditional ratchet straps in that they don't have two ends with a cinch in the middle. These tie downs work like a large belt, wrapping completely around whatever you are wanting to secure (a pile of lumber in the back of your pickup, a kayak on the top of your car, etc.). They are easily securable and have clear instructions on how to use them. They hold tight, and have a quick and easy release mechanism. Overall, these are great tie down straps.

Sturdy strap with easy one-handed usability. I had just built a rack for my scaffolding & RV cleaning ladder. I needed a way to hold the scaffolding in place with one hand while cinching it up with my other hand. With the strap loosely run around the stack, I could yank on the free end to snug it up. A lot easier than using a ratchet strap which can be a major pain on occasion. Use is very intuitive and threading the strap through the buckle is very easy. To protect your cargo, there is a rubbery plastic piece on the buckle. Nice product that works just as advertised.

Cam style tie downs were popular for light duty use until Ratcheting tie downs were scaled down for consumer use. The reason for the switch was cam-styles did come loose and had to be checked and re-tightened frequently. CamJam Tie Down does have a rubber-like pad that protects the surface of the item being secured. I did not find that the method of securing the strap is all that simple. The end of the strap is cut at a 45 degree angle, presumably to make it easier to insert it into the buckle. On the straps I received, the end was frayed making it difficult to re-insert the end in either the "Loop" or "Lockout" configurations illustrated on the package.

These "CamJam" tie downstraps are awesome. The quality of the stitching and the feel of the strong black nylon straps is not the best part. The strong and durable loop holders are unbelievably strong looking and so easy to adjust and tighten. Each strap has a working load of 700 lbs and a break strength of 2100 lbs. The straps are manufactured by Nite Ize and comes with a 100% Customer Satisfaction guarantee.
