Keating Traditional Tufted Back Taupe Fabric Wingback Recliner

The only thing I can say about this chair is that it's not super comfortable out of the box, but you can throw blankets on it. I love that it's not super big. The reclining function is amazing! You can lean back or lay back. Which ever you prefer. The chair is sleek and modern and can easily be moved around the house to fit into tight corners or open areas.

As a classic tall-backed traditional tufted and pleated chair, it's superb. The seat padding is more than sufficient; the fabric is a heavy-duty tightly woven gray plaid; its raised legs give it an aire of respectability. As a recliner, it is very good. It is unfair to compare it to the huge "spaceship launch" recliner where you are totally flat with tons of room in the chair and with those giant arm rests. This wingback chair which looks great in a closed recliner position, and quite comfortable once you recline. You must push back with your arms to recline the chair; the lack of a lever may be an issue to some but it would ruin the traditional look of the chair. Given its design first and foremost as a standard high backed chair, there is no mechanism to move the chair away from the wall as it transitions to a recliner. Placed in an open area, that isn't a concern; up against the wall, it will hit the wall as you recline - just something to be aware of. The mechanics and build are really good. Fabric staples (to hold the fabric in place) are substantial and very close together, which is better than average construction. The black backing to cover the inner workings and to close off the bottom is much thicker and stronger than on most pieces of furniture - you will see it when the chair is inverted and you are installing the legs. As to the legs, there are long and thick bolts to hold the rear legs in place. I really liked the deeper than normal sockets that accept an Allen Wrench (provided) to tighten the bolts - just another hint at better than normal construction. My wife who is petite loved the chair as her legs touched the ground. I enjoy both normal sitting and the recliner position is quite comfortable to read a book. I will add that in the fully back position my ankles hang off the foot rest; however, if I raise the chair up only an inch or two then my ankles align properly on the foot pad. The mechanism holds its recliner position throughout the recliner's possible angles. The price point seems about right, a bit higher than an average made chair with no recliner mechanism and less than high-end recliner with lots of features.

Relatively easy to assemble, just be careful lining up the supports for the back. It is an attractive chair, but it has a "cheap" feeling to it. It's most comfortable to just sit. When reclining, it feels a little wobbly. It would be more suitable for a smaller person. We are both on the larger end of the scale, and it just doesn't feel like it is supporting us very well. It would fit in nicely in a small space, with room to recline if you are so inclined. I don't feel it is worth the price. Feels more like something bought at a cheaper store. I feel like we could find a nicer, sturdier chair somewhere else.

This is a very basic recliner. Reasonably comfortable. My wife feel a sleep in it quick enough. Looks are okay. More of a gray with some black in it. It came very well packaged. No damage. The assembly was relatively easy. It's not too big and over sized, so it can fit in a smaller space. The fabric seems quite durable. The fabric coloration makes blend with almost anything.

This Noble House Keating chair is a nice mid-size recliner. I like the traditional tufted wingback design. The fabric color, which is taupe (grey), is neutral and should fit most decor. The chair required assembly, but was easy and took 45 minutes (instructions and hardware included). The chair appears to be well built and sturdy. The only con is; when in the recline position, the back leans straight back so you can not place this chair close to a wall. Chair was made in China.

Great look, easy to put together, nice and small and looks exactly as the pictures shows. They are comfortable and we love to sit in them, but they are not to compare with an big, comfy American recliner.

This chair is perfect for what I needed. I was nervous the velvet would attract lint. However, it really doesn't. It's a sturdy chair and I actually put it together all by myself! If I can do it, anyone can!

Delivery was amazingly timely! Quality is great along with basically easy assembly! Box arrived undamaged and packed very well!

Working from home and sitting on it daily, wears out the seat fabric quickly.

Mechanism broke in 3 days. Back would not come forward after recline. Returned.
