A:  No way, they bubble even on a hard surface, see my review.

A:  yes you can if super low pile almost like glued down with no padding. If the carpet has padding it will not go together easy and the mushroom teeth will not stay together

            Answer This Question

A:  Anything can happen but I would use Rug Stops. These are honey comb mats that go under rugs to stop from sliding on wood floors. These work great to help them stay and also protect them from possible transfer of anything to wood floors.

I need to warn you, this is not a quality product. Please see the pictures. Tiles fit loose at all (4) corners and are very tight along the mid-sections. Results in ugly gaps (at corners) that show the subfloor, so no way its spill resistant. Also, it bubbles up at the mid sections, because of the bad fitment between tiles. I believe the tiles shrink and become circular instead of remaining square (due to a material defect). Additionally the tiles have an ugly blotch in the center of each tile due to a poor mold process. Overall the tiles have an ugly blotchy sheen to them which is made worse by the gapped corners and bubbling mid sections. I needed to protect the floor of my TuffShed, which these do accomplish, otherwise I would return them (may still do so). Don't think of using these in your garage or any room of your house, where you have to look at them. They are barely suitable for a Storage Shed (if even that).

                Something changed in tile manufacturing
I have filled three complete rooms with these tiles: Garage, Laundry, and Workshop. starting way back in 2016 and continuing until 2021. Over all those years, I constantly kept buying more boxes of tiles, some for new rooms, some for replacements, and they always fit together perfectly, and were an awesome 5-star product. BUT, something changed in the last year or so (2019-ish and following). Suddenly, new boxes of tiles no longer fit together -- exactly as another reviewer said. They seem to be a different formulation, with some new kind of rubber, and they are just simply much lower quality now. They don't fit with previous versions of the exact same tiles. and they don't fit together well even from the same box (see photos from the other reviewer; those photos are 100% accurate). I have seen as much as a quarter-inch size variation between tile boxes, which is unusable and is guaranteed to infuriate you. They have different dimensions at the corners vs. the edges, definitely bow up in the middle, and the injection molding now leaves terrible edges that all need to be trimmed. QA is abysmal. None of this happened the first 3 years when I bought hundreds of these tiles. I don't know what happened to the Norsk-Stor Rhino-tec product, but something definitely changed, and these floor tiles now are absolutely horrible. Maybe a different manufacturer, maybe some new formulation, maybe cheaper materials, who knows, but I wish the previous high-quality version was still available. Unfortunately I highly recommend looking elsewhere for a good tile product instead of this one.

Tiles were easy to install and look great in our workout room! I would recommend using a saw to cut the tiles, as it would have taken us forever to cut the tiles with a utility knife.
