8 pieces of slatwall, which are each 6 inches tall and 4 feet wide. There are also two each 4 foot wide by (approx) 1.5 inch tall top and bottom pieces (4 total). Also included are a few side trim pieces and hardware.

What are the dimensions of the completed 8 piece kit?

Yes, I had to trim mine just a bit, and it cuts very easily. I used a power saw, but a hand-saw would also work.

How do i repair the corner trim on the front of the trailer

I am sorry but not sure what you are asking about the corner trim on the front of the trailer. If the end of the panel is is against the wall you do not need any trim on it. It can just be flush with the wall. If that end is exposed them you would put our end trim on or if that did not hold you could buy white vinyl J Channel and slide under wall edge then screw into the wall

I was very excited to receive this slat wall, as I have used french cleats for organizing tools and felt that it was a very efficient way to turn wall space into usable storage space. The Norsk slat wall comes with all the panels, as well as the frame to finish the sides. Installation was easy, just make sure everything is nice and level for best results. The slats themselves are made from some heavy duty vinyl and are quite strong. The accessories easily slide into the rail, and then clip in place, so they don't move around once they are hooked on.

The NorskWall NSNW8PP Panel Kit is definitely high end when it comes to materials, workmanship and appearance. I am an artist/crafter. I think using this panel kit as a backdrop to display my various pieces will highlight them all beautifully!! I have not installed the kit yet because although it comes with all the hardware to hang it on the wall, it does not come with any accessories to use to hang something on it. Home Depot does sell the hooks, hangers, rods etc. However, for me, they are crazy expensive and way beyond my budget right now. I am looking forward to the time I can order what I need to display my pieces. I am excited. The NorskWall Panel Kit is worth the wait.

This is the second brand of slatwall I have used in my garage: the other brand I have used also was purchased from Home Depot. I am therefore able to compare my experience with the Norsk slatwall to that other system. What I found superior in the Norsk system: - The panels are much heavier than the other system, much more solid. The slats also lock together more tightly and are far easier to align. The other system had a bit of play in them, so I found myself constantly re-checking whether they were level and so installation took longer. - The Norsk system seemed more flexible on positioning, as it was less sensitive to placement relative to studs. The other system had more requirements about positioning relative to studs. - Each slat mated to the unit directly above and required no other pieces for mounting. The other system relied on the two side trim pieces to keep slats mounted. This complicated installation. - Norsk slatwall includes all the parts to butt pieces together horizontally. There is a metal dowel that is included that allows 4 foot pieces to be put together to make 8+ foot sections. The other system required purchase of a special piece to enable attaching pieces together, and this was not easy to find. - Norsk slatwall cuts like wood, cuts stay clean and do not melt despite being plastic. The other slatwall would tend to melt or shatter when cut with a miter saw. For my Norsk application I needed to cut pieces to 3 feet wide to fit under a cabinet, and I used the remaining foot of material on an adjacent wall. This required a lot of cutting to get right and there were no issues with getting clean cuts. - Accessories seem to attach very securely to Norsk slatwall and do not slide. The other slatwall system's accessories did not have a means to secure to the slatwall and tended to slide laterally. As for disadvantages, there were some with the Norsk system: - I needed to build first under a wall-mounted cabinet, then place a second column of slats next to the first set, building the second slatwall higher on the wall. The issue with this was that it was very difficult to ensure the second column was started precisely enough so that the two columns could be mated together with the metal dowels. On first attempt I was 3/16 inch off and had to re-install the entire column to get the two columns aligned. Note this was an issue with my particular setup as I did not have two columns starting at the same height (you start installation from the top), but it is something to keep in mind if your installation is the same). - Installation of the trim pieces on the sides was by far the most frustrating and difficult process. This probably took at least as long as the rest of the install. The clips seem to only loosely rest on the sides of the slats before the trim locks in place, the trim does not press in well, and the instructions were rather lacking in covering this step. I am considering foregoing the clips for the last trim piece and using adhesive instead. - The Norsk system included a second set of clips which were only listed in the parts list (referred to as a "low clip"), but nowhere in the instructions was this referenced or used. An improved instruction manual on this step and the use of these clips would have been helpful. Overall, I prefer this system to my earlier system and will likely to use Norsk for any future slatwall projects.

I had my doubts when I was taking this out of the box. Would plastic be able to hold up all these cantilevered accessories? The material is quite thick and was very sturdy once it was on the wall. Layout is easy, too. I just wanted to cover a small section of ancient, beat-up pegboard so I just used a half box of the slats there, using the others elsewhere. For installation, the Norskwall was not fussy to hang and the instructions were simple, but complete. There are top pieces, the field pieces, bottom rows, and side trim. Plenty of hardware is included. Make sure you have to the top level and attached it to studs. Adding the first field piece took some extra effort and I couldn't get it to snap into the top row. I convinced it using a wood block and a hammer to tap it into place. When that's done, adding the rest of the field pieces went quickly. I found that starting the screw very slowly then going full speed into the wall worked well. I was not happy that many of the field pieces had end damage. Fortunately, the end trim covers it so you can't see those chips. This product would be great for finishing an unfinished garage since you could attach it directly to the studs, no painting required.

This is an outstanding slatwall product - and is far better than other slatwall products I have installed. The panels are 3/4 inch thick heavy duty PVC. I only wish they offered bulk pricing on this product as I have over 500 sq ft to do. This is perfect for the garage where you tend to have heavier storage requirements. The panels are compatible with another leading slatwall manufacturers accessories so you should be able to find hooks, baskets and hangers to meet all your storage needs. I really like the way the panels fit together precisely and the that they have pins to align the panels when butting them together - keeps everything aligned with no out of plane gaps. Installation is pretty similar to any other slatwall product. Hopefully we will see Home Depot putting together some packages on this product that will make it more affordable for those of us who want to cover entire walls with slatwall.

I am definitely a fan of this one. It's completely constructed of white PVC. I did drop one panel while installing and it broke off about a 2" section. Fortunately it couldn't be seen once installed and it's still as strong. Once you level and install the top rail, continuing with the wall panels is a breeze. It takes very little time or skill. The bottom rail goes on as easily too. For the side rails, there are clips provided that hold the side rails to the ends of the wall panels. Once complete, there are no screws visible. I believe it would be simple to spray paint all of the parts prior to mounting, I would recommend using primer first. I have 3 accessories for the slat wall. Every one of them can be installed anywhere on the slat wall. Each slat can support one as well as the joints between the panels. That really gives a lot of versatility. I'm going to pick up some more accessories for mine. This is a great base to build on. I'm obviously a fan. The instructions are the weakest link to this item. It seem like it might have been loosely translated. I went to their website address from the instructions. There is a great tutorial to watch. It's less than 2 minutes and it's much easier to follow than the provided instructions are.

The Norskwall slat wall system is awesomely easy to install and very flexible. I had a messy corner of the garage that was begging to be organized. I had two kits, a 4 panel kit and an 8 panel kit. The kits come with everything you need. You simply hang the first piece and screw it in and then you pop the next piece and screw it in place. The kit has a lower trim piece and side trim pieces that produces a really clean, professional looking storage system. The pieces are made of plastic and are easy to cut and are lightweight, making it an easy one-person project. The 8 panel kit was in sad shape after UPS was done with it, but Norsk had protected the contents well and they were perfect, although the carton wasn't. My only complaint is that hangers, hooks and shelves from my other rail and slat wall aren’t compatible, and looking online the selection for Norsk is smaller than other brands.

I was getting tired of garage mess, so I decided to try this Slatwall product. I had exactly 96 inches between two windows on the rear wall of my garage, so I elected to install panels in two columns. Installation was pretty easy and I think the final product looks much better than the bunch of nails that were previously holding stuff off the floor. Another reviewer said the panels didn't engage correctly, but his pics show the panels installed backwards, which explains the problem. It's an easy mistake to make, so I attached pics of the right and wrong way to install the panels. If you install them correctly, the panels snap into place and hold securely. I found it easier to tap them into place with a dead blow hammer. Use a hammer that isn't colored black, to avoid smudging the white panels. Make sure the panel is lined up correctly before you tap it into place, because they don't slide right/left very easily after you engage them. Overall, I think this is a pretty nifty product. The only real drawback is the cost of the hooks.

It’s very sturdy. You do have to tap the panels pretty hard to get them to lock into place. Save yourself time and YouTube The installation instructions. It is easy to install I was able to do it myself. Make sure you take the time and locate all your studs before installing. I marked the stud line so there was no guessing. I still need to install the side trim but overall it works well. The hooks lock into place very easily

Overall it's very good. It looks great and the hooks and accessories are solid. The main complaint I have and the reason for not giving 5 stars is that it's advertised as 20 square feet of panel space but it's really only slightly above 17. It didn't fill the area I had chosen and had calculated for the 20 square feet per kit. Since I ordered three 8 panel kits, I decided to check what one more panel would add up to. Even with that, it came up short with a total of 19 square feet. Having said that, I visited the Norsk website and it is described as 17 sq ft. But with an image saying 20. The other thing I found is that even though it states that it accepts accessories from many other manufacturers, it really doesn't. At least without maybe having to tweak something. In my case I found some baskets that are supposed to fit standard slatwall panels 3 inches on center. Norsk slots are 3 inches on center but they are much wider therefore other accessories may not fit properly. For the baskets I ordered, I used a small piece of square wood rod to lift and fill the space behind the hook so that it could grip the slat.
