These are great but…
You cannot connect three strands of lights as it states on the packaging. First you need to know that any stands that have a control box attached cannot be connected together or they won’t work properly. You need to purchase ‘add on’ strands of lights w/out a control box and even so, you can only connect one additional strand of add ons for a total of 2 and not 2 add ons for a total of 3. When 2 add ons are connected it burns out the original string with the controller.

Unique globe shape with some nice features and LED cool operation, but the app is lacking.
This light set is somewhat unique in many respects. The first thing you notice is the unique small globe shape. That’s really nice and makes this set stand out! It is not little LED “plugs” nor is it the old small candle shape. This shape is just nice. The warm white is rather please (not too harsh), and you can even dim or brighten the look if you use the phone app.
The second thing you’ll notice is that the set is powered by a very small transformer that converts the AC to DC. The good thing about that is DC is typically safer. The bad thing is that the connector is proprietary (see photos), and you will not be able to connect any other type of lights to this set. That’s OK, you can connect 3 of these together with the one small transformer.
The controller works with the phone app, but more importantly, the different sequence functions can be accessed with a simple little button switch on the connector. That’s handy if you don’t want to use the app or don’t have a phone app handy.
The reason I took off a star is the app and instructions. The app is not as intuitive as another light set I have of a different brand, and there are many misspellings (see photo) which just shows poor quality of the app. There is also supposed to be a timer function that didn’t seem to work. Too bad, sounds like a good idea. Dimming is only available via the app.
And the instructions could use some work. For example: “The total connected sets may not exceed the maximum allowed number of 2 Add-On Sets to a Controller/Transformer set.” What does this mean? 2 can be added to the original, or overall 2? Well, the box says “Connect up to 3 sets of lights,” so I guess the answer is 3. Confusing.
Despite those shortcomings, I really like everything else about the set, especially that it can ultimately be manually controlled for the most important functions.

These lights did not connect to multiple strands as advertised. It said you could connect up to 4 sets. They did not work completely and I ended up returning them. Not worth it.

If you use two controller boxes on a series of strings, they will not work properly.
