I do not see why not. I put 3", 2 3/8", and 2" galvanized nails through it. They all functioned just fine.

Shot about 1000 nails so far without a problem. Many negative reviews is because this nailer stops firing with about 5 nails left in the loader, not a mid fire and not broken. Just add more nails and you're good to go. Cons, this nailer is a little heavier than others I've used, and has a much more kick than average. No matter the setting, this won't always sink nails either especially when toe nailing, likely due to the kick back. Overall, a good nailed for the money and occasional user.

I love this inexpensive Nailer, I accidentally dropped it 14 ft to the ground and I figured it was done. However I was quite surprised to find it worked perfectly, no issues at all. I does not jam and puts the nail in sufficiently .

I used "grip rite" brand, 2 3/8 nails and shot about 800 nails without any jamming. I highly recommend this to any home owners.

On the first use, 6 hours into building a shed it misfired multiple times and then eventually it shot a nail every 5-7 attempts. The nail was properly loaded with nothing blocking the pathway. It would have been a great purchase it if continued working. Finished with a hammer and nails…Sad...

It works as good as any of the much more expensive nail guns I've purchased in the past. Unclear just how long it will last but I'm just a weekend warrior so it will probably last long enough for the low cost. Have built a shed with it so far. Worked great!

For 85 bucks you can't expect much . Major complaint is that it won't drive the last four nails in a strip. They seem to get sort of cocked in the barrel when down to four. Anyway - even if you're loading two strips at a time you're still throwing away three strips out of a box of 1000. What's that add up to - a buck fifty a box? Ehh... I probably should back up the Hitachi with another Hitachi... Now if you have all of the other stuff you need to use a pneumatic nailer but you want to nail a doghouse together in ten minutes then pull the trigger and buy this thing. If you're looking at using it for more than a doghouse just think of all the money you'll save on not-wasted nails by spending more up front.

After reading the reviews on this nail gun, I thought it would be a good buy for the small job we were doing, so I purchased this nail gun for my husband just over a month ago. He used it for the second (could not finish work) and last time this past weekend. It has completely stopped working. For whatever the reason, still to be determined, air is escaping from the trigger. This was a poor investment even for $75+tx as the warranty on wearable parts (driver blades, bumpers, O-rings, pistons, piston rings, and gaskets) is only 30 days (missed the fine print on that part thought it was one year coverage) and we expect it may be an O-ring problem.Don't know if it'll be worth the price of fixing. $75 for one and a half times of usage seems a little steep to me. Would have preferred to have something good to say. Really disappointed and would not recommend.
