        A:  Thank you for your inquiry regarding the use of acrylic material for a kitchen backsplash. Our acrylic products are somewhat flammable and would melt/burn if contacted directly with a flame source. The other consideration would be that acrylic will soften around 90°C - 100°C, so it would not be advised to install acrylic too close to stovetop burners.
