36 in. x 48 in. x 0.093 (3/32) in. Clear Acrylic Sheet (12 pack)

I buy this thickness of OPTIX (3/32") to make picture frames. In this case, I framed a puzzle that my sone gave me. I've used thicker pieces on outdoor projects. It's reasonably priced and cuts well on a band saw.

Well I had high hopes this acrylic sheet would come in one piece but nope. I met the UPS guy in the driveway and gently took the sheet into the garage set on a large table to unpack. It looked ok until I pealed back the protective blue masking film on one corner and there it was. The corners are not protected and you can clearly see the cardboard damaged as well. Cracked in transit (UPS). The acrylic is probably the extruded type as it seems more brittle. The description also says translucent. It is but likely very low, like 5% light transmission. I was hopping to use it as a light diffuser but it blocks too much light. It is very shiny and smooth. I mulled around returning it but decided to keep it in my plastic inventory and may cut it up anyway since I cannot use it for the purpose I intended.

We’ve been using this to cover the opening for our egress window from our finished basement. It does a great job….lets a ton of light in but also keeps out the rain and snow. It sits on top of a grate that we also purchased to Home Depot. Our opening is a little bit bigger than this sheet size. So we picked up another piece from the same brand just a small smaller size. Having a two different sizes makes it much easier to move than one really really big one. We have left the plastic covering on both pieces to protect them from the elements. But it doesn’t block out the light.

These acrylic sheets are perfect for many uses! I purchased this to use as a protective layer for a small table and it was the perfect fit, no cut needed.

Sheet was cracked at corners and box showed corner damage that I thought would be acceptable but only bubble wrap inside and no corner protection. This is 2nd time received damaged sheet. It's a pain because I have to schedule and plan the install and now have to start all over. Too big for me to return so will have to be picked up. This will not work without corner protection. No brainer.

The perfect size and smoothly FLAT for our back deck coffee table that has a woven top that made our beverage glasses wobbly and unstable. Love it ???

I am really disappointed with the quality of this product. After bringing this home and removing the plastic cover that is on both side I noticed this large oval defect. I have not returned it and probably won't. I am using it to protect my floor from my office chair. I just want to warn other buyers to really check the sheet especially if you were to use it as some type of window or door glass. At one hundred dollars a sheet should get better than this.

I just love how easy it is to cut this plexiglass to my desired size for the various projects I have. I use this acrylic when I don't want it to shatter when I store it either. The price is much more reasonable from Home Depot than other stores and arrives unscratched. Great product!
