Used product to create several interior windows in a customer's home. Product was as described and cut clean using a jigsaw with blade for cutting metal. It is sensitive to scratching so must be handled with care, even with protective film on both sides.

I was worried that the clear Acrylic sheet would not be as good as Plexiglass because, quite frankly, I did not know the difference between the two. This was an outstanding product and very clear and durable. See the pic provided, it is very difficult to see the piece of Acrylic but it is there. I would buy this product again for the purposes I used it for - as a screen / window for a nativity manger I built. I thoroughly research the internet and shoped local stores, and this was by far the best product and best price I found. I was surprised HD was able to beat the competition on this product.

Optix acrylic is low qualtiy.
I purchased a 4 ft X 8 ft X 1/4" thick sheet of clear acrylic made by Optix. It was priced at about $268, some of the most expensive acrylic available. I thought since it was the most expensive, that it should be the best quality. This was not the case. To begin with the sheet had a slight warp, I wanted to bring it up as far as quality. But then when we pulled back the protective plastic off of the outside of the acrylic, we found a bubble that was sealed on both sides inside the acrylic. Optix has specifications on how strong the acrylic is before breaking.. But it cannot meet those specs with bubbles in it that aren't supposed to be there! Since the defective sheet with bubbles was no good, we returned it and home depot did refund our money. We went to another store and got a piece of acrylic made by a different company, and it was much better. Personally, I will never select Optix brand acrylic again.

Used this to build a half wall into a full wall with this being the top portion so can be seen through. Worked great and seems very sturdy. Easy to cut and handle.
