This flatware set is awesome; I recently purchased a second set to go with the first set I bought almost 2 years and they still look like new! I've always washed them in the dishwasher like any other silverware, but I love the matte gold finish.

These are beautiful! Definitely striking and different enough to stand out. That said, the coating seems to wear a little quickly; I've had these just over a month and one of the spoons has a couple spots of steel showing through. Not too bad, but still visible. None of the other pieces appear to be wearing through yet, but a month seems a short time for it to last.
