This Ororo heated vest is nice and warm, it will come in handy when I'm out fishing and if you hunt it will keep you nice and warm when the ice cold wind is blowing hard and the snow is falling. The price is good and worth every penny when it comes to enjoying just a nice walk in the winter time, nice to have when walking your dog, when there's a chill in the air. My friends like it because it's lite and really nice looking.

Absolutely amazing vest, and I mean amazing! I will say my wife is an arthritis train wreck, with severe and debilitating back issues, both upper, mid, and lower back. Plus she has shoulder issues. SO, that said, I had her try this out and she has not given it back yet. I am not confident I'll get it back soon either, as we move into fall/winter weather. I've worn it, with a feeling that it is a perfect item for anyone who is outside for any length of time OR someone who experiences pain with the cold. I have some arthritis in my back and the colder weather has been a warning that winter is coming. When I wore this, no issues. While the heat is higher and mid-back, not lower back, it does radiate down through the lower back PLUS it also has heating elements on the front too, mid-upper front. Perfect! This comes in a very nice travel/storage bag although I don't know that I'll get it back in there. It comes with a charger and battery. And of course the vest itself. Charge up the battery, place it into the special pouch on the inner lower area of the vest (zippered pocket) and you are good to go. Press the power button and hold for 3 seconds, you'll go into pre-heat mode with a blinking red light. Then after pre-heat is done, it moves to white, which is medium heat. You can cycle through HIGH, MEDIUM, or LOW. If you want to turn it off (it does get warm), press and hold for 3 more seconds. Good to go. Would I recommend this? Without a doubt, an absolute YES. Anyone who gets cold, who works outside, who has arthritis, and anyone who MIGHT be outside in snow for unexpected reasons (car breaks down, winter weather travel, etc.). It works. It does run out after maybe 4-5 hours, but you know, if you turn it off for awhile or use lowest setting, it does last much longer without a charge. No matter, it is a life saver. I'm going to write to the company about buying more batteries to keep charged and ready to go. If you have back pain, you'll appreciate why I say this....heat is medicine for those with back pain and it works. Seems very well made, well packaged and thought out, a serious piece of clothing that doubles as a tool to help with the cold weather.

My daily trek is around three miles. That is not enough time for my vehicle to warm up and have heat. I was searching for a solution to keep me warm when it was cold. I tried a seat warmer that plugged into the 12 volt port on my truck, but it put out very little heat and it did not last long. Finally, I have an answer. The Ororo heated vest. Ironically the morning after the day it arrived we had our first cold spell of the season and it was 34 degrees outside. This thing works! It kept me warm and my daily trek was wonderful. I can see so many uses for it like when I have to go outside in the winter to do some chores. What's really great is it's lightweight, the battery is the only heavy part about it and that's not even really heavy. This would also be a good back up in case the electric were to go out during cold weather as my heat is electric (heat pump). It has three settings which is changed by pushing on the Ororo switch on the upper part of the vest. Redish orange is high, white is medium, and blue is low. I'm looking forward to staying warm this winter!

ORORO 3 heat setting vest with an ultra soft fleece liner equipped with a 3 carbon fiber heating elements. It's made of 50 % cotton and 50% polyester . High back collar put up will cover your neck. Switch between 3 heat settings ( high , medium and low ) as you push on the ORORO logo on the left side of the vest that will light up . The logo will light up as you push on it. The light is an LED light. Red will be high and 131F degrees, White is medium heat 113F degrees, and Blue is low heat at 100F. When heat is shut off the logo will go dark as the LED is no longer on if you hold the button down for about 3 seconds. It does come with different interchangeable plugs for traveling to other countries to adapt to their power source. Comes with a great carrying nylon zippered traveling bag also. Battery stores neatly in the left inside zippered pocket along with the cable with connector is located for an easy push an pull out connection. Fully charged battery gives you about 10 hours of heat ( 3 hours on high ,6 hours on medium, 10 hours on low ) I would wash this in a washing machine on gentle cycle and remember to stick the cord that connects to your battery inside the inner pocket and zip it up so no other clothing would pull it out and tangle or break it off . I would wash this separately and NO NOT put in dryer, REMOVE THE BATTERY BEFORE WASHING ! Hang it up on a clothes line or a plastic hanger until dry. I really like this vest as it can be worn over top of this vest with a long sleeve lighter jacket or over a long sleeve shirt. Great vest and well made. I highly recommend this vest for chilly or real cold temperatures.

Great vest and very warm. The ORORO Unisex XX-Large Black 7.4-Volt Lithium-Ion Heated Fleece Vest with (1) 5.2Ah Battery and Charger is just what is needed for the fall weather and the winter. The vest size runs a little small - the fit is great but a little snug. (I am thin so the size does run smaller) The vest is nice quality material, very comfortable and warm even without the heat on. The vest warms quickly and evenly with the power on. I wore mine to the grocery store and no one could tell it was keeping me electrically warm except for the subtle lighted logo on the upper left breast. What is really cool is you can turn it on/off and adjust the high or low settings just by touching the logo on the upper left breast. It’s that easy! The included battery and charger are a good compact size and the included carrying pouch is a nice touch. Would make an excellent gift to that someone who is always cold. Color is black (pictures show kind of brownish but it’s black.) and has a nice front zipper with a generous pull tab so you don’t have to fumble with gloves on. High enough collar to keep your neck warm and up and out of the collar of an overcoat. Very nice!

As someone who loves to be outdoors in all kinds of weather, I'm always on the lookout for gear that can help keep me warm and comfy on the coldest of days. As I already own the long-sleeve heated fleece from Ororo (and am a big fan), when I saw this Fleece Vest with 1-5.2AH Battery and Charger, I knew I had to give it a try. The vest comes packed in a convenient carrying case, so it's easy to keep the vest, charger, and battery together when traveling. Included with the charger are plug adapters to allow for international use. Material quality is excellet, and the vest styling and fit is very nice. As soon as I got it, I charged up the battery and went out for a long walk on a very chilly 26 degree day. Battery charge life is very good, particularly on low heat. Even on the lowest setting I did not feel cold. In use, the battery is contained in an inside zipper pocket, keeping it warm and adding efficiency. I'm looking forward to using this vest often this winter, particularly during activities like skiing, where I need warmth without reducing my arm movement. Highly recommended!

So cozy! I have along sleeve jacket by this manufacturer, so I was excited to try this vest, too. It’s great! You just charge the battery, and then plug the charger battery into an interior zippered pocket in the jacket. Then you press a button on the front to adjust the temperature. The only complaint I have is that the vest’s outside pockets don’t have zippers to keep items secure, which means they’re not useful to me. The battery takes a while to charge, so i have to prepare ahead of time. The material feels durable and it looks nice. Be aware that the on/off button lights up while it’s on, which is pretty noticeable, especially against the black color. So, people will be able to see that you have a light on the front of your vest. I think they'll just be jealous though that you’re warm! I tried to take pics of the light, but it’s really hard to get an accurate photo of a light. There are three levels of temperature, but I don’t feel a ton of difference between the settings. I washed it in the washing machine and let it air dry, and it came out perfectly. I don’t notice the battery while I’m wearing the jacket.

I am one of those people who is cold all the time so when I saw the ORORO Unisex Medium Black 7.4 Volt Lithium-Ion Heated Fleece Vest with 1-5.2Ah Battery and Charger I decided to give it a try. The ORORO heated Vest arrived in a few days and it comes with a portable bag, the Fleece Vest, a Battery, a Universal Charger, cable and a user’s manual. After I took the fleece vest out of the packaging, I tried it on and it fit very nice. I usually wear Women’s Medium so I would consider the Vest in Adult Unisex Medium to run small. It is made of 50% cotton and 50% polyester. It has a stand-up collar so you have the warmth all the way up your neck. I unpackaged the battery and charging kit so I could charge the battery. The charger has two additional adapters, one for the UK and one for EU so if you live outside the United States you can use the charger. I located the User’s Manual so see how long it would take to charge the battery and what the battery level was. There are four lights on the side of the battery. Each light is 25% so when all four lights are on the battery was at 100%. My battery already had three lights on so at 75% charged it shouldn’t take long to fully charge it to 100%. I plugged the charger and battery in and checked it in an hour and it was not charged to 100%. I checked it again in 30 minutes and the battery was at 100%. I took the battery off the charger, got the vest and located the inside zippered pocket. Inside the pocket is a plug for the battery and I plugged it in and put the Vest on. There are three power levels, Red is high, white is medium and blue is low. The power button is on the upper left side of the vest. The ORORO Vest has three carbon fiber heating elements, one in the mid back and one on each side of the chest. I pushed the button and the light was Red, so it was on high. You can feel the vest heating up. I think the vest will work better under a coat so the heating elements press against your skin. I wore the Vest for a couple of hours and it was still warm when I took it off. I did turn it down to medium after the first hour. This ORORO Heated Fleece Vest is a great product, I am completely satisfied and will recommend it to family and friends.

This is a very good quality vest which is most useful for those frigid outings - perhaps the football game or hockey game. This vest is supposedly unisex, in that you can get a large, medium or small vest and women or me will fit into it. The medium I have is actually pretty large, as I am normally a large (42") coat, this fits quite comfortably. The nice thing about this also is that the battery was designed to be flat and not protrude into your side or back like some other heated apparel. This battery is flat and about 3 X 4 X 3/4" so it does not protrude into your side. There is a special battery pocket inside on the left, which holds the battery. The wire plug is located in that pocket. The on and off switch is located on your left lower shoulder area in the front. It stays lit while the heat is on, and surprisingly has a steady on and off glow while in use. I cannot say exactly how long the battery would last, but it warms up quickly, so you could simply use it as needed for a quick warmup then turn it back off once you are warm. Anyway, I think this is a well designed vest albeit on the larger size. It works real nice and is real cozy. I highly recommend it.
