These jackets are great! I have previously had a hoodie from Ororo and it is awesome and my wife has borrowed my hoodie more than I have worn it, so it was time to get her one. This vest allows her to feed our livestock and move about while still staying warm. A full jacket can restrict your arm movements so you have to chose from being warm or being able to do your work. The vest allows for both. She really likes that the back of her neck warms up along with the hand pockets up front. There are other areas that heat up as well. The material is comfortable and with several heat settings it is easy to adjust the temperature as it warms up during the day. She said she likes the over all style with the red ribbing along the front. I know how she looks is just as important to her as anything else. I appreciate Ororo as now I can wear mine and stay warm too.

Picked up this Ororo Women's heated vest to help cut through the cold PA weather in the fall and winter. This is my first piece of heated clothing, and I am very impressed. In the box is a carrying bag for the entire kit, and inside the bag was the puffy vest, an instruction book, the rechargeable battery, and the universal charging kit. The universal charging kit was a surprise, as many things don't come with both American and European plugs, but this vest did!. Once the battery was fully charged, it was time to put the vest to the test. I took the vest outside on a pretty chilly day. Not only did the vest keep warm because it was a puffy vest, but once it was powered on, it was awesome. 3 different temperature settings activate into 3 different heating zones: pockets, back of the neck, and upper back. "Preheating" was quick, and the vest was a comfortable temperature very quick. Overall, this is a great product and will be checking out other Ororo products for this winter. Definitely recommend this vest!

I got this for my wife due to her always being cold when we are out running errands. She doesn't like the huge bulky design jackets to wear here in Ohio's weather. She loves this product. It's exceptional quality made that's thick, light weight, and easy to maneuver around in. It has wind resistant material on the outside, with a collar that can be high if needed. It has 3 temperature settings as well, and the On/Off switch is easily accessible from the outside of the best. Definitely recommended.

My wife was so happy with her Ororo jacket we decided to try the vest and once again we were not disappointed. The vest is well made with good zippers, excellent stitching and the material seems to be durable and of high quality. The vest has no inside pockets except for the battery pack pocket which is on the left as being worn just above the waist line. There are two outside pockets for hands and the vest has nice maroon piping on the main front zipper. The collar is what I would call medium height and has a zipper cover so when fully zipped up the zipper will not come in contact with your skin. The material is water and wind resistant and OEM states that the vest has more filling than previous years. The heating elements are high in the back and on both sides of the front zipper, right around the waist line next to the pockets. The battery is Lithium-Ion Battery (5200 mAh, 7.4 V) and is rechargeable up to 800 times. The battery has 4 red LED lights that will tell you the amount of charge remaining, and it also has a USB port that will allow you to charge a cell phone if needed. Ororo states that the jacket will run 10 hrs. on low, 6 on Medium and 3 on high. My wife really, really, really likes the high setting, but it does drain the battery quickly. 3 hrs. is a generous time frame. The jacket does come with three different charging adaptors for world wide charging. The vest works when the Ororo button on the left chest is pushed and held for 3 seconds. The vest will then go into a 5 min. heat up mode with the Ororo symbol blinking red. After heat op mode is complete, the vest reduces the heat to medium and the symbol will turn white. The user can turn the vest down further to low (blue) or back up to high (red) just by pushing the button. To turn off, push and hold for 3 seconds. Things to know, the battery is Lithium-Ion and if you plan on flying you need to check with the airlines to see if or how you need to travel with it. The Battery “WILL” set off a metal detector, but the vest will not in my testing. Back to the flying, if you go through a scanner the wiring “WILL” show up and it really does look like you’re a walking bomb so be aware that you may be scrutinized a little more. If the inside lining does get wet, you should “NOT” turn the battery on. The vest is washable but only if the battery is removed and the vest is placed into a mesh bag. The vest cannot be just thrown into the washer with the expectation that it will work properly afterwards. As proof, my special child wore the vest to a Pat’s game and security confiscated the battery pack. Who knew you could not enter Fox-borough with a 5200 mAh Lithium ion battery? It was either give up the battery or listen to the game from the parking lot. Of course, she chose the game leaving dad to by mom a new battery pack at $65.00. Sizing is an issue, this is a common complaint across the board with the woman’s vest or jackets. According to my wife, the “cut” seems to be more geared towards a petite or slim build and not very realistic in her opinion if the intended wearer is more curvaceous, bosomy or she intends to wear bulky clothing underneath. For the large, if your normal size is 10-12 your pushing it and should go up to the extra-large. The large is perfect for the 8 to 10 size range allowing for some layering or bulky sweaters. Any size smaller should go to the medium. This is a great vest, well made, high quality, functions perfectly, just remember to size up, recommended.

The Ororo Women's heated vest is well made from quality materials - problem is the sizing runs small. I ordered a size large and it fits me like a small. I normally wear Women's size 12 and a medium to large depending on the cut so I was surprised in the scant fit of this vest. According to the sizing chart the garment should measure 43.3in inches across chest. When laid flat the vest measures 19.4in at the bottom of the arm pits which is mid chest. Although this vest appears to be a quality heated garment and fashion forward, I'll have to size up one or more sizes to appreciate it's heating benefits. The vest arrives tucked neatly into a nylon stow case perfect for the ski or camping bag. A battery and charger are included. The vest offers a zipped pouch on the inside of the vest lower back that places the battery in a comfortable position. Ladies size up and you'll be happy.

Nicely made heated vest with some thoughtful design touches. First of all the battery pack is a fairly low profile unit, unlike some other heated garments which use very bulky and annoying batteries. It charges via USB-C port which is also nice, since more and more device are moving to USB-C. Temp inside the jacket reaches about 100 degrees within 3 minutes so that's not bad! I like this vs. a heated jacket since you can wear it under any outer jacket. Appropriate for women, it does not heat the chest area but the back and the belly, keeping the core warm. My wife is happy with it!

Wife uses this to keep warm in the cold. She used the term "Miracle" to describe her first experience. We spent some time outside in 36 degree weather watching a parade. The startup is quick and the steady heat is fantastic. Heated pockets is "amazing" and the back heat lined up well in lower back and higher - almost neck area. The battery is small, but works very well. It charges with a USB C connection (Provided) and the universal plug connection is quite nice as well. Small sized battery fits nicely in the side pocket and does not get in the way. USB A is also available to charge a phone/device if necessary. Wife loves it - which means it is a fantastic product. Likely need to get another one soon.

First let me say that I do have a full jacket from another manufacturer and while I do love it, there are some things that I would change. Ororo’s design is great! The thing that I love the most is so simple... battery design! Yes, it gets nice and warm which is certainly what one would expect from a heated vest but that nice flat battery does the trick. Yes, I would most definitely recommend

"Ooh, I'm getting toasty!" said my wife once we turned it on. The battery pack charged quickly, probably in about an hour. I like how it comes with a carrying case and UK & EU adapters. The charger receives a USB 3.0 with a USB 2.0 on the other end. The battery sits in an interior pocket on the hip and doesn't feel uncomfortable. It took us a few minutes to find the button on the vest itself (it's incorporated into the logo) as we thought the instructions referred to the button on the battery pack. It's nice that the button is on the outside and glows when activated so you know it's on. I'd say the vest is stylish in its black color with red trim and the medium size received is true to size.

Good things first: it does make your torso part warm, including the neck. Its like getting neck massage or neck-rub because if the warmness. It fits well, a little too well (tight) for comfort. I guess that is for reason to keep the body's warmth inside. So, i am sure if one size up is advisable. Now, not so good things: Battery is heavy and does bother when u try to put hand in the jacket pocket. The right side pocket zip wasn't working. Now, it could be because of the "fit too well" reason, but left side pocket working fine. So, I am thinking it came in like that. A few pics attached. Didn't know taking pic of yourself with full vest could be that difficult. Tried selfie, but didn't look much look of the jacket itself.. Red/pink lit up logo means, its warming up. White/Blue logo means, its cooling down.
