Thank you for your question. OSI QUAD Foam cures to form a closed-cell polyurethane foam with flexibility to accommodate building material movement without cracking or compromising its seal. If you need further assistance with our products, feel free to review the product's technical data sheet at www.ositough.com
Thank you for your question. OSI QUAD is designed for exterior weatherproofing applications, and while sealants can help to dampen sounds, it is not specifically recommended for soundproofing applications.
Thank you for the question. OSI QUAD Foam is water resistant when cured but not classified as waterproof. This product would not be recommended in water submersion applications or in constantly wet or damp areas.
Thank you for the question. Once you have opened the can for the first time, one-time use is to be expected, so saving the product afterward for another day typically does not work. Cleaning the straw with acetone before the foam cures may help prolong same-day use. After that, the product may still cure in the container, or propellant may leak out despite the best efforts to preserve it. You may also visit www.ositough.com and review the instructions for use on the product technical data sheet.
Thank you for the follow-up question. OSI QUAD Foam is not designed to be used as spray application for large area insulation purposes but instead to fill gaps, cracks, and holes in and around the home. The foam is dispensed in an extruded bead form, so you may encounter difficulty in a large area. This is not to say you cannot try assuming there is full access to the area and no blind cavities keeping in mind that results may not be to your expectations.
Thank you for the question, Brian. If the QUAD Foam is not cured clean up can be done with acetone which will dissolve uncured foam but may also harm the wood finish depending on the what the finish may be. Follow solvent manufacturers precautions carefully when using on finished surfaces. If the Foam is already cured then removal can be extremely difficult without damaging surfaces. This product is not considered removal. Cure foam can only be removed by carefully picking, scraping or using other mechanical means which usually will damage the surface. -The Henkel/OSI Team 1-800-624-7767
Wait for until it is no longer sticky to touch but still soft. If you touch it sooner you will crate more mess. Pull it and most of the time it will get clean out of the surface. If anything is left rub it with Clorox wipes. Works as magic.

It comes together.
Unfortunately the straw is not sold separately
Thank you for your question Jeff. Polyurethane foams in general, such as the QUAD Window and Door Insulation Foam, can be used in chicken coops providing the foam insulation material is well protected. Chickens will peck away and eat insulation if it is not properly covered and hidden (using a plastic sheet is not enough protection). Recommend you check with your local Farm Bureau or Agricultural center for additional assistance.
