Holes do not line up with Oatey flange, does not fit underneath
I need a spacer to get flange to tile height. Since I re-did the entire setup, I am using a new flange also. I want to place spacers on the tile backerboard so I can get to tile height without having to screw thru the tile. Drilling pilot holes thru porcelain tiles is not easy, so using the spacer is the preferred option. This also eliminates any concern of a broken PVC spacer when using a flange with SS ring. The PVC spacer will not see any stress other than being pushed straight down.
Two issues with this item. I am using an Oatey flange with SS ring which has screw holes, as does the spacer. Except that the holes do not line up at all. Same brand, same # of holes, but only 2 line up. Brilliant job Oatey.
Second issue is this will not fit underneath the Oatey flange, only on top. This is not stated anywhere that I can find. I would return, but since my HD has zero other options, I am stuck modifying this flange if I want to get this toilet installed quickly.
PVC quality is good and set on top of flange well, but screw holes would still need to be modified.

Excellent product but check the closet bolt pattern in your existing flange. Toilet flanges have cut-outs to accept the head of the closet bolt. You then slide the closet bolt to a narrower portion of the slot in the flange that keeps the head of the closet bolt secure when securing the toilet. Some toilet flanges require the bolts to be moved in a clock wise direction (and this spacer will work quite nicely with those flanges). Other flanges require the bolts to be moved in a counter clock-wise direction which could be problematic if you ever needed to remove your closet bolts. Just line up the space with your flange to make sure everything lines up - especially closet bolt slots before installing.
The product itself is strong and well made. I picked this up to use in a bathroom where I removed the old tile floor and laid down under floor heating before installing the new tile floor. This flange gave me the height I needed for the increased height of the new floor.

Working on a home that the toilet flange is lower than the flooring and this spacer did the trick. It’s pretty much self explanatory but i did have some difficulty lining up the holes to the actual flange. But in the end it worked out. It was pretty easy to install Just some silicone between the flange and the spacer and screwed it down. The 1/4 inch thickness was exactly what I needed to raise it above the flooring a bit. PVC material it’s made of seems pretty solid and when I screwed it down and finished the install I felt good it held up good to any tightening I did. Good product and i had no leaks. I’d recommend it to anyone with the flooring being higher than the flange.

I needed to raise my toilet flange up because it was sitting below the tiles. When I installed a new ceramic tile floor. The flange should sit on top of the tiles. I went to Home Depot and picked up a Oatey 1/4 in. PVC flange spacer. The spacer is white in color and 7 in. in circumference and has 6 anchor holes to secure the spacer to your original flange and subfloor. This spacer is really durable PVC and made very well.
I cleaned the existing flange and used silicone between the flange and spacer and then I screwed it to the floor. The manufacturer recommends using no more than 3 spacers per application. I want to let you know this spacer is not a toilet flange.
If I called a plumber in to fix this, he would have wanted to cut the waste line and extend the pipe and install a new toilet flange. This would have been very expensive. Thanks Oatey I enjoyed using the 1/4 in. Flange spacer. It was a breeze to install. This Oatey spacer will save you time and money. I recommend this product if you run into the same problem I did with the floor.
The Oatey 1/4 spacer solved the problen. Put a new floor down and the existing flange was too low. Placed silicon under the flange spacer bolted it to the old metal flange and no leaks!

The spacer is what I needed to create a good installation for a new toilet. My situation called for using two wax rings in addition to the spacer but it worked great.
