It was at the Home Depot near me. I don't think flammable items like this are shippable in most cases. I used the in store pick-up option with no hassles.
"Not the correct application" Can we say B.S. boys and girls? YES you can use ABS Cement on ABS fairings. We've been doing this for YEARS on our GoldWings! Clean & dry parts are a must. If not, use a sharp object to get to clean surface. This provides TOOTH also. CRACKS - Try to open said crack to get the Cement into the crack or force it in with your thumb. Immediately wipe the painted side is glue shows. FILLER - Snip or Scrape ABS plastic into small pieces, mix well for several minutes. Place it where you need, watch for slumps. 8D
ABS would not work for this application. I'm sorry but we do not currently provide a product for this application.
Instruction sheet (download link on product listing) says, "Do not use primer on ABS pipe and fittings". So, no. Probably the audio was generic, for both ABS and PVC, because there are PVC primers -- I never use them myself, though. Just do a good job cleaning the pipe before cementing, then twist slightly into position to smear the cement.
Yes, but it can be messy also on a canvas for artwork I would try to find something less messy.
