This product did an excellent job of getting rid of the heavy, smoky odor in my fireplace, which was very strong and starting to permeate my living room. However, when you use it, be sure to cover up the opening with heavy cardboard or a thick sheet of plastic or a tarp and masking tape all around, as the smell of the deodorizer is very strong.

The main purpose of this product is to eliminate odors from smoke and burned plastics, fabrics, wiring, etc... It is intended to have a pleasant fragrance, but the fragrance is not meant to be long-lasting.

OdoBan did a great job even better than I thought...
OdoBan did a great job even better than I thought it would. It got rid of all the smoke smell in time for our big Thanksgiving dinner. I would recommend this product to everyone that has had a smoke issue.Bret Carter

This product is ok for one room, but not for a whole house. Tried to get smoke smell out of my house. It smelt fine for an hour but you could still smell the smoke in the house.
